The facilities in the hotel are great and good functional to use.. Furnitures and interior looks nice and stylish function.Front and staff are nice and friendly talk.

It is minor concern which is not a big disturbing to me. But it will be perfect. I did order the vegetarian to room service but I can't find out Menu in my room. The towel are look dirt.

It is a great hotel and service apartment. The facilities are great and nice. It so comfortable to stay in both short and long term. The location is in the town and surrounding with interesting shoppoing shop.

Nightlife Tip : The hotel so much close to "Warm Up" pub & restuarant. You can see Chiang Mai teenage night life here.

Near to the Airport, Right by the happening Nimmanhaemin, Cool Pool, Neat Room and more...

Breakfast menu can be better, A bit difficult to find staffs,

I liked the neat room and the cooling swimming pool. If you are one of those ppl who like to be left alone (and never be bothered by the staffs since they'er much too difficult to find) then this is the right place for you. Althought it's not the hotel's fault, taxis are the most difficult to find - may be this could be improved by having closer biz relationship w/the taxi company. Breakfast was a bit too blah...

Cool hotel that you ever have had before! Guest Rating: 10

Room is very big and full furnished, very clean, building is new and transport transfer was so fast.

I have not found any weaknesses of the hotel during my stays

Excellence, I have never had before. Actually I reserved a studio type when I checked in at the hotel, the booked room is out already. However, the staff was offer me with suit type with the same cost. It's a good offer and I preferred it. After entered to the room, it's very bid and full furnished, clean, all facilities are in the new condition. Moreover, the room is very comfortable. Food and drink, I had my dinners during my trip at the hotel, quality of goods is very wonderful and price is reasonable. I think, I had a good time during my trip and hopefully I will visit the hotel for the next trip.

Very elegant entrance leading to nice lobby and if you require space the rooms give you exactly that coupled with a big verandah. Spotlessly clean with clear straight line modern design theme was very good. The staff were very efficient and always smiling. The free snacks/tea and broadband at the executive lounge/ ground floor is both a unique and a brilliant idea. Very convenient indeed.

Although the rooms had washing machine there was no washing powder provided. I've known other places to provide one. Also there was no ironing board and iron. The TV of the bedroom was tiny.

The Hotel is a excellent place to stay for short and for long haul. The staff are very efficient and the service is good. The modern clean straight lines are very appealing. The wooden floor were marvellous. The rooms are spacious the bathrooms are big so you don't feel cramped at all.I thought the verandah was a good idea. As part of their unique service is the free snacks/tea/coffee and free broadband at the executive lounge and also at the ground floor which is very convenient indeed. Hats off to that service. Location of the hotel is very good as it is close to all the nice spots of Chiang Mai. Overall I was very satisfied. Thanks.

Restaurant Tip : There is a nice restaurat called the Mikes Breakfast which serves, as you guessed it, a very sumptous breakfast. Don't miss it.

-- The Clean and Modern Design of the hotel -- Nice Pool -- Sumptous Breakfast

-- Could be noisy as along the plane flight path -- Mosquito in the room -- ants in the kitchen -- Sofas with the unappealing fabrics are too big for the room

I got upgraded to a one-bedroom upon check-in at 1pm as the studios had yet to be cleaned and ready. Got a view of the mountain from the balcony as requested but i was also some 10 metres away from workers laboring at this hotel extension site just across my balcony. For the first night, mosquito kept me up. After much insistence, front desk loaned me their only electric bat and had peace from 2nd night onwards. The breakfast spread was generous but the morning bliss was disrupted by planes overhead. Nevertheless it was a pleasant stay.

Restaurant Tip : Many good cafes and restaurants in this hip Niman area. Particular impressed by the tapas restaurant Su Casa: plesant ambiance, good food at an affordable price.

This hotel is quite near the airport and located right on a shopping street. Facility very nice, clean & quiet. Food is also good.

Check in staff are slow & don't handle problems very well.

Kantary Hills is a very nice & quiet hotel. My only bad experience is when I checked in with my booking, they couldn't find my booking record anywhere and I had to wait almost half an hour before someone came to sort it out.

Shopping Tip : There are a lot of small, lovely shops selling art & handicrafts along Nimmanhemin road near the hotel. My favourite is a clothing shop called Chaba. If you like traditional coffee/tea with thick pieces of buttered toast with sugar or sweetened milk, there a coffee shop called Mon Nom Sod on this road. Very nice!

Quite

out of city center

Clean and well maintenance. Near to Chiangmai University. A little far from the city center but there are a few tuk tuk in front of the hotel that can bring you around. A lot of restuarants with in walking distance. The room is comfortable with pantry corner and a washing machine.

The hotel is new and clean with good service.

The internet connection was slow and there was no wireless in the rooms. You can get internet in the rooms, but they come with a modem for you and it cost like 300+ bath for 24 hours, but if you order for 1 week you only pay for 2 days. There was free wireless internet in the lobby and restaurant.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and defiantly the cheapest (this was of course out of season). This was the first apartment hotel I have stayed at and it was really nice to have a refrigerator and freezer for when I wanted something cold to drink. The staff was great, very polite. Unfortunately I did not get the time to try the swimming pool, but it looked really nice and clean.

Hotel price is going up! Service in restaurant

This is my third stay at Kantary Hills, so it can't be that bad. In fact it is good. The management seem to be keeping on top of the maintenance which is often a problem in Thailand; so many hotels start out sparkling clean and well put together to just fall in to disrepair within a few years. As I have said in my previous reviews this hotel is of a high standard for what it is, essentially serviced apartments with Pool, Jacuzzi, Fitness and restaurant. All the fittings and fixture are fine not of the very highest standard but more than adequate. I don't think anybody staying here would be disappointed with the room as long as you consider it to be a serviced apartment, do not confuse this with a 5 star luxury hotel it is not! Main problem with the rooms is the extortionate price for internet, there are What is letting Kantary Hills down at the moment is the restaurant; I have eaten dinner on two occasion’s lunch on one and breakfast many times. While all of the serving staff are extremely polite and friendly they seem to be lacking in knowledge of how to do their jobs. Don't get me wrong I would not dismiss one of them they are all very nice people I think what is needed is a bit more training. They take a very long time to approach the table to take the order. They take even longer to bring back the drinks; they often bring the main course within minutes of the started (if ordering western style). You will end up having to either rush your starter or make extra room on the table for your main. Again there is a long delay before any plates are cleared and the bull can take an age to arrive. On this trip I started with Deep Fried Camembert with Strawberry Jam, this arrived cold, while the cheese and strawberry sauce were very nice the fact the cheese had gone cold sort of defeats the object of this classic. I then took my chances with the local (Thai) rib eye beef steak, I was expecting it to be extremely tough so ordered it well done.

Restaurant Tip : Northen Food Restaurant Soi 13 Nimmanhaemin Road -- most dishes 47Baht or less, nothing spicy but this is the North!

nice pool, friendly service, good breakfast buffet

only complaint....studio room balcony so small and no view

Kantary Hills is staffed with all great service. The rooms are large and very accommodating. Extremely clean for Thailand, and good location. Perfect size hotel, not too small and not too big. The pool and fitness area is a real special feature too. The breakfast buffet is the best we have seen in Thailand.

nice lobby and pool. Good service, and adequate sized room. location, not too bad - walking distance to cafes and boutiques. breakfast spead is adequate.

The quality of wood used for the furnishing in the room - hotel is relatively new and there is already some wear and tear.

a bit expensive compared to other hotels in the vicinity. Not worth paying that price unless you are thinking of staying in - to use the pool facilities. Gym facilities is nothing to rave about.

Restaurant Tip : there is a nice cafe, located just before the hotel, that serves a decent chocolate beverage. Worth checking it out. There is also a street hawker selling meat skewers on the main road. Didn't try it but i was told by my cooking teacher that it is quite well known in Chiangmai.
