Great location but small pool

This hotel locates in old town and is very convenient to walk around. There are many small shops, massage, restaurants and travel agents around the hotel.
It is decorated well and make people feel relax, the employees are polite and nice. However, the swimming pool is too small, wich only fit for children but not adults.

location : right in the middle of town and walking distance to sunday night market.
hotel ambiance : quiet, relax with lots of resting area for web surfing, reading.
hotel facility : swimming pool is rather small but is the best they can have in that area. love the room balcony where you can have garden view or pool view while having coffee or tea.
staff : great service and speak adequate english.

the stay at the hotel was not excellent,room was pricy and the service not equal,when we checked in the was rubbish from the previous guest under the curtain,the place is to big,the bars too expensive and of dubious quality and more than everything else the charged my credit card upon checking in for security reason and after 23 days i still have to get my money back and this is something i have never experienced before in any other hotels i visited

We stayed here for 4 nights, the staff are really pleasant and very helpfull. The location is inside the city walls and not far from the temples. Decent Buffet for breakfast, Although we did not eat in the hotel at nights i would think the food to be good going by the standard of breakfast. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

we (my boyfriend and i) arrived early for our reservation and the staff took us right in, offering butterfly juice. the room was beautiful and very clean, looking over the pristine pool. the breakfast was great, definitely worth the extra bucks to have it included. staff was extremely friendly and helped us book cooking class and ziplining tours. we also used the free bikes they had available to ride around the city. overall very positive experience, would definitely recommend.

They double booked our executive room for 2 nights of our stay but made up with it with a Standard room that was still very good and free dinner.
lovely small hotel. Quaint and one of the best. great feel about it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Good massage place a few doors up that reforms ex woman inmates Its a real good success story and great place to get a full body oil massage at about 6$ per hour.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel - nice retreat after a long day of walking the Chiang Mai streets and visiting temples; easy access to Sunday walking market, nearby market and good street food!
Restaurant Tip:
Walk a little to east some great street food opposite the market near the river.

this is the second time i've stayed at kodchasri and i wasn't disappointed. the location is good (in the old town), the swimming pool is quite nice, and the service is friendly and attentive. we were upgraded to the very spacious executive suite, but the deluxe rooms are also very nice. the gym is small and basic. this is the only hotel i have stayed at that has its own "museum", which is a small room tucked away at the back of the hotel containing a few old items. the large common area towards the rear of the hotel has some nice sofas to read a book or surf the net. highly recommended.
