clean- cheap-great staff- comfortable
this is a very good hotel at least three and a half, maybe four stars. really nice breakfast. The Chinese restaurant on the 14th floor is quite elegant.
Location is good with a lot of activity within walking distance. Free shuttle to the night bazaar which is not very far away.
Very good air conditioning.
Maid service is quick and the cleaning is excellent.
Restaurant Tip : There are many "food vendors" on the street that are very cheap.

It's only a minute to night bazaar.
This hotel is only a minutes to the night bazaar by going straight. So quiet swimming pool. But the food was the same every morning as I've stayed there for 5 days. I ate the same every day. But it was delicious.
Nightlife Tip : Only a minute to night bazaar.

Nice Lobby, big hotel. Close to Night Bazar but not in it.
Need to travel usually to every feature, but very cheap. The breeakfast should finish at 10:00 - we came at 9:45 and they took all food in our faces....
We asked for connecting door and receive it but one of the rooms toilet was not working properlly, however - I do reccomend on it - nice hotel, not expensive and mostly nice staf.
Hotel Feature Tip : Free shuttle to night bazar - we found it too late....

good location, good personel attitude, tasty breakfast
Swimming pool area is not hospitable
The location of the hotel is in the main street, walking distance to te night market and the Jewish Beit Chabad. The personel are very kind and helpful. The rooms are big and comfortable. We got rooms with conneting door, which is an important issue for a family with kids. The swimming pool is small but sufficient. This hotel is recommended.

Shuttle to night market, Location not too bad.
Lifeless, cold, no atmosphere, no service in pool area (drinks, towels etc)
The location of Lana Palace is about 10-15 minutes walk to the the outer night market. During Songkran it was quite nice not to be staying right in the old city. The staff were very friendly, however, the hotel was icey cold in the bar and restaurant areas and the rest of the hotel including the rooms were very plain and a bit shabby. You could have been in a cheap hotel in London as easily as a hotel in Thailand - no character at all. Would prefer to stay somewhere a little more interesting.
Hotel Feature Tip : There is a shuttle to the night market at 7pm and 8pm every evening but you should book at least one hour before hand.

Big clean rooms.
Very helpful staff.
Away from the center.
Breakfast - need improvement/addition of dairy/cheese department.
Despite our late arrival, we were welcomed very nicely and were given all the help we asked for.
Throughout our stay, we trusted the staff with different needs and were always answered in a very professional and helpful ways. The hotel staff made our stay an enjoyable experience.
Restaurant Tip : Very close by the Shangrila hotel/resort (i do hope I spell this correctly) the diner buffet!!
A liitle farther up the main street (on the expensive side) the Italian restaurant.

Large clean rooms.
Helpful staff.
A little far from the center.
The staff was very helpful especially with arranging transportation and leaving our belonging in a safe place waiting our arrival (after a few days).
Restaurant Tip : Not too far from the Shangrilla hotel for dinning.
