Overall a good deal, there are cheeper hotel out there though for you backpackers.
Very good location, attached to Chiang mai Biggest shopping center and Hospital, 10min Tok Tok drive to the night Bazar
Great swimmingpool and Gym
Hard mattress at the rooms so if you like soft ones it kind of a problem to your back...
prices are lot higher when you try to book at the reception desk... better to do it on the Agoda site
- Shopping Tip : The near by shooping center is a good place to eat and shop
A standard kind of hotel

We tried to upgrade from our rather shabby Superiour room to a Delux and were amazingly told no ! Clearly there were a great many empty rooms of both types in this very large hotel. As a general city centre base it is fine and the rooms were clean, peaceful, but very basic indeed. The staff were fairly helpful.
Good views
Rather shabby in the Superiour rooms.... needs renovating !
- Hotel Feature Tip : Book a DELUX room and eat a better quality and value breakfast in one of the many nearby places.

The hotel has several different wings, however the Huay Kaew Wing might aswell be a completely different hotel as it is far inferior to the other wing, which can give you a feeling of beeing mislead. The rooms in the Suthep Wing are perhaps better, but the rooms in the Huay Kaew Wing simply arent up to standard.
Rooms are large
Compared to room standards prices are to high, especially without discount. Rooms are dark and a general lack of up-keep is evident.
Great price and location

I will stay here again for the location and price. Apart from the need to renovate this is a nice hotel for those looking for comfort on a moderate budget.
- Hotel Feature Tip : If you stay in a superior room, ask for a room ending in 38 or 01. These are corner rooms and are much larger than the regular rooms- perfect for our toddler to run free.

Probably the most convenient hotel in Chiang Mai for shopping and great food. Hotel next to Pang Suan Kaew mall and you can get everything from food, clothes, shoes etc. Down at the basement you can get street food, souveniers and weekend there are concerts free of charge. Good for holiday makers on a budget. The room (deluxe) is very big and the bed is nice and large. Friendly staff, even the housekeeping are nice. The food is not good. Pretty normal. I did not use any dining facility as it is so convenient to find somewhere else. There is a Starbucks nearby if you want to serve the net. Do not pay for the hotel's broadband--expensive! I will definitely come back as I feel this is better than the more reputable hotels. You certainly get a Thai feel in this place.
Shopping next door.
Old and needs renovation.
- Shopping Tip : Just go next door.
