Good Location

Non-smoking room smelled heavily of smoke (especially in bathroom). The pictures on the website might not be where you are staying -- evidently there are two Hotels by the same name and are joined only at the 6th floor crossover which makes getting out quite difficult.

After viewing our room (TV could only be turned off by unplugging it according to the maintenance man who was there to stop the lights from flickering) we went down to the desk to tell them how unpleased we were with our room and asked to move to the newer hotel. We were told that the other hotel was "full" by three different employees.

Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel located near many restaurants and shops.

I would say that the location of the hotel is in the heart of the city and it was very easy to visit anywhere in Chaing Mai.

1) The room was very old and there is some smell inside the room. 2) I checked with the front desk and I known that the walk-in rate was even cheaper than your rate.

The hotel was quite old and some of the staffs was also not really friendly. The room photos and the real room was a bit different. The room have some old carpet smell which was not really good in the first sight. The breakfast was not bad for Thai but I think that it would be very tough for all foreigners. The hotel location was not bad as it it in the heart of Chaing Mai and it was so easy to go to walking street and night bazaar.

Near the shopping centre.

Hotel needs big improvement including, staff training, room, furniture and interior.

I've got very dirty room and the furniture inside the room have the stains on them. The foyer was dirty. The hotel definitely needs big renovation and put more staff for training.

I stayed in the deluxe wing (single bed) and it was pretty good i must say. not so sure about the older wing. Receptionists were very friendly.

it is quite a distance away from the night bazaar. shower tap was kinda leaking.overall i think the bathroom could be improved.

Its very near to the airport and a huge shopping mall, where u can get all your necessary stuff. if your not too picky on breakfast, the breakfast provided is not too bad. arrangement to the airport and night bazaar can be made at the counter. i wouldn't mind staying there again if I'm going to Chiangmai again.

A convenience location that reach Shopping Center and Eateries. Less traffic compared to town area. Spacious rooms, well equipped facilities in gym. and swimming pool.

Your 3 elevators need overhaul. During my stay from 11th - 14th Dec. Your elevators constantly breakdown and I was staying in 12th floor. At time I need to wait for 10 minutes for it to comes up to 12 fl. Supply of small face towel and tooth brush if possible. More employees that can speak English Language. Offering of Free WIFI or lowering your charges on usage.

A Well facilities equipped hotel which conveniently assess to big shopping mall and eateries. Slightly away from main town area which give you smooth traveling when you are on the road. Spacious room with nice view that make you feel good when you wake up from bed. Affordable pricing comes with 5 stars services and facilities that make you feel like coming back constantly. (that's why I am returning yearly for the passed 5 years). It's a no regret choice!!!

Restaurant Tip : a good choice of native foods plus can be found during evening time which located right in front of the Central shopping mall.

It was cheap to stay here

Old, stained carpet, old ugly room

The newer rooms are nice, but the old cheap ones are awful! It does include a nice breakfast.

Hotel Feature Tip : The newer rooms are much nicer. If you don't mind the dingy room it is at least in a central location and is cheap.

Location was good, right at the mall and easy shuttles to the night market. Big breakfast with a lot of choices.

These rooms are dingy, dark and very unappealing.

We have stayed in the newer sections of this hotel which are nice, but this wing that we stayed in was the older wing and in my opinion it needs to be either torn down or have a major renovation. The carpets were torn and stained, the furniture was old and ugly, the room was dark, ugly, and awful. I never want to stay there again, even though the lobby is fine.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The night market, the snake and monkey shows, the tiger petting zoo, elephant riding, these are really fun things to do in Chiang Mai. I would also recommend renting a car to enjoy everything at your leisure.

Close to the way up to Doi Suthep,Doi Pui and Bhubing palace.Next to Central Shopping Center and easy access to shop and buy all the things in there....

Absolutely mistery hotel and very dark inside, very gloomy atmosphere. Old architectural style, oldfashion style, very hard to navigate around as it looks like an industrial complex or factory. No bathgel and hairdryer and remote for tv. Unfriedly staff who ignore you and they are lazy to explain everything upon checkin.

Next to shopping malls, near many restaurants, convenient transportation, big and clean, nice staff. Free transfer to night market

No buffet dinner during low seasons, charge for internet. Should have coffee making facilities.

I have stayed here twice and will come back again. It must be the hotel using most wood for the interior and has the Thai look. Rooms are huge and cheap. There is a night market just outside the hotel during weekends selling food and clothings etc. Not far from all spas and massage parlors. Convenient to catch a car or tuk tuk to wherever you want to go. There are Starbucks, MK and multitude of restaurants next door at Pang Suan Kaew and you can get your stuff and food there. Facilities are ok with a nice pool and gym. Suitable for businessmen, families or couples. Maybe not for very fuzzy people as it is not a 5 star hotel with tip top facilities. Ample parking space and popular with tourists. If you need a very quiet place by yourself, then it's not suitable for you.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Night bazaar, Doi Suthep

Well appointed large rooms, very close to major shopping centre and food court. Within walking distance of old city

Minor points - Very large and for walkers entrance is rather obscure. Long way to breakfast room from new wing. Wish they provided electric jug and coffee/tea

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very large and has two receptions the second serving the new wing (where I was). The room was very nice with good view over mountains. Minibar expensive (nothing new there)and took up a large part of the fridge but same items available in shopping centre which is accessed from the fourth floor of the new hotel wing. Nothing wrong with this hotel only minor niggles. Had a meal in one of the hotel's restaurants which was reasonable value for a good meal. The included breakfast choice was excellent. (as I say the hotel is big, to get to the breakfast room we had to go to hotel wing's lobby on the fourth floor then walk about 100 metres to the lifts for the main hotel and get a lift to the 1st floor however I didn't find this very much of a problem)

Very good location, attached to Chiang mai Biggest shopping center and Hospital, 10min Tok Tok drive to the night Bazar Great swimmingpool and Gym

Hard mattress at the rooms so if you like soft ones it kind of a problem to your back... prices are lot higher when you try to book at the reception desk... better to do it on the Agoda site

Overall a good deal, there are cheeper hotel out there though for you backpackers.

Shopping Tip : The near by shooping center is a good place to eat and shop

Good views

Rather shabby in the Superiour rooms.... needs renovating !

We tried to upgrade from our rather shabby Superiour room to a Delux and were amazingly told no ! Clearly there were a great many empty rooms of both types in this very large hotel. As a general city centre base it is fine and the rooms were clean, peaceful, but very basic indeed. The staff were fairly helpful.

Hotel Feature Tip : Book a DELUX room and eat a better quality and value breakfast in one of the many nearby places.
