Wonderful rustic countryside resort hotel
Cosy rooms, courteous, helpful and warm staff who always serve with a smile and greeting
7.7
Enjoyed it thoroughly. Staff were welcoming from the start. Arrived very late in the middle of the night due to the flight but they were there ready to help us with our luggage and check-in. We were shown promptly to our room after checking in. We were shown all the features of the room and how to operate certain things. Breakfast every morning was a pleasure. All requests attended to promptly. Even though breakfast ends at 10 am, we could take our time finishing our coffee as they got ready to set up the tables for lunch. On our last day, staff came up to us to ask about our airport transfer even before we arranged for one. That was how attentive they are. All reminder calls (for day trips and airport transfer) were made just as they had promised. Room service was prompt too. Needless to say, it was with a heavy heart that I left. Would definitely consider staying here again if I come to Chiang Mai again.

nice but a bit overpriced
5.7
the location of the hotel is good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. the rooms are not that flash and a little small. we stayed in the junior suite which was almost identical to the standard room only with a bathtub and better bathroom. it is a little bit overpriced in my opinion but i would probably stay again.

Amazing and Beautiful Hotel
Beautiful Layout, Amazing rooms, Incredible Staff
9.7
We loved everything about this hotel! We stayed here for 4 nights and had an incredible time. The staff was incredibly accommodating and we would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Chiang Mai. The rooms are beautifully laid out, they are large, but still cozy. The pool is wonderful, although doesn't seem to get MUCH sun. It's located in between the 2 large streets East of the old city; a perfect location to get to anywhere in the city.
We can't say enough about this place, so we'll sum it up with this:
Stay at this hotel, it's worth every penny.

Cannot Fault This Hotel
Really nice thai style hotel
9
As I said, I cannot fault this hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights. Great location, really nice thai design and well equipped rooms. The staff were very nice and all round, although it was not cheap, I thought it was great value for money. Would highly recommend.

A nice wood hotel in the city,A beautiful little gem", is but one of the many ways guests have described the Manathai Village, Chiang Mai. An intimate boutique hotel, tucked away on a small residential Soi, in the very heart of Chiang Mai, where centuries old temples mix with architecture that reflects the passage of time and history. Consisting of 29 beautifully appointed Lana Style accommodations, each with its own unique personality and clustered in four Guest Houses replicating the Thai Lana style of Chiang Mai.
