A hotel with tranquality
Friendly and helpful staff
8.7
A hotel which is different from those in the city center. You can find
the peace here. It helps to revitalize your mind and body which gives
you a sense of refreshing.
Unfortunately, due to water tank washing, the colourof water is a
Yellowish. There is a construction site next to it which is spoil the peace and quiet environment a bit. Otherwise it id absolutely a good place to stay.

A quiet oasis away from the madness of chiang mai.
A little of the way and hard to find but that is part of the charm.
The staff were all very polite and courteas.
Breakfast was great and a lovely location to eat it.
The rooms all seem to be huge with all the facilities needed and are of a very high standard.
The pool area is very tranquil.
Travel tip:
Don't let the tourist information at train station organise a taxi for you, all he will do is use his own car and charge you double the taxi fare.
Walk out of station and agree a price with a taxi or tuk tuk.

Fabulously appointed property
Too far from central Chiang Mai
8.7
As others noted, this place is really a gem. We had our own private villa with a porch. Staff was cordial, morning breakfast by the lake was lovely. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the managers were accommodating in every way. All in all, a perfect property for a relaxed vacation. But if you want to explore Chiang Mai, you might consider a closer site. Getting a cab was difficult, esp off-hours both from the hotel (the staff needs to contact a car to come out and pick you up)and to it (some cabs didn't want to drive out). Although it's only ten minutes away, sometimes the town felt inaccessible.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the elephant ranch trip is worth the car fare. Although somewhat touristy, the variety of activities make it a worthwhile experience.

Private Villas in a jungle setting
7.7
Arrived late afternoon to find a welcome comity from friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help in any way. The rooms were spotless, well made up and kept that way for entire stay. All staff worked around what we wanted to do and offered as much help as we wanted. The villas were private and comfortable, we were able to spend time in the resort or travel into town. Major draw back is not being within walking distance of points of intrest.

Room was clean, Resort like great Garden
8.7
1. Everyting was perfect. My 3 years old son enjoyed swimming pool and breakfast.
2. Their transportation service was great. They even gave us free ride for restaurant and other hotel.
3. Many trees made us feel like we are in tropical garden.
4. The owner lady was very kind and all members were like family.
5. Only one thing that i don't like is the Insects. There were too many mosquitos and other small biting insects.
Travel tip:
1. Take anti-mosquito cream and Killer for sure.
2. It takes about 15 mins to downtown area like sunday market.
3. Near the hotel there are not many restuarant or market.
4. No spa or massage area in hotel.

Beautiful getaway hotel close to the city
quiet, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, large comfortable rooms, marvelous breakfast
9.3
We enjoyed our stay considerably. Small resort with a wonderful staff. The room was very clean and large. The bed was very comfortable. The pool is small but very clean and nice for cooling off and lounging. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Wonderful setting for breakfast. We will return here for sure!

Outstanding little resort!
Rooms, people, food, location.

My wife and I stayed for 6 nights and we felt we were being treated like family. I arrived with an injured knee. They took me to the hospital, waited while as being seen, provided all their help during my recovery and attended to all our needs. It was a great experience. I can't say enough to show how much we enjoyed staying there and how much we appreciated their attention.
The place: It is just beautiful, perfect to get away from the city environment and to relax. Not a big resort; however, the way it is set up gives you all the privacy you may need as a couple or family. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. You have the option to dine at restaurant or with more privacy just by your room. You can spend a lot of time outside in the garden, by the pool or the pond. The food is good and at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed having breakfast by the pond. It was just so peaceful.
The people: It is evident the owners love their resort. They spend so much time caring for the place and the visitors. They also do a good job at transmitting the idea to their staff. They were all polite, attentive and more than anything, caring. I can honestly say they brought me back to health and we were able to continue with our vacation. They answered our questions and provided good unbiased advice on tours and activities. The driver (Pon) is a great guy to talk to and trust that he will take you to the right places to make your visit great.
The location: Easy access to town by taxi. If you want to see Chiang Mai but still have a feeling of solitude, this is the place. The great thing about it is that it combines the experience of a resort with the local life. We walked around and found little shops, a very local restaurant with excellent food, vendors, schools, etc. We really enjoyed seeing the real local Thai people around the resort.
We will certainly go back to this resort. Many of the reviewers got it right, it is a gem and paradise!

Poor location but lovely hotel
rooms and setting are fabulous
6
This hotel was a little too claustraphobic for us. The location is well outside the city which meant the hotel taxi was necessary to bring us in and out of the city (at a cost). The breakfast was nice but we rarely got the correct ingredients in the omlettes we ordered. We decided to have dinner in the hotel one evening and it was a disaster. Food arrrived and was barely recognisable. The meat was fatty and not the type of meat we had ordered. The food was awful and when we were almost finished picking our way through what we could they arrived with a dish they had forgotten to bring down. To finalise it all it cost bath. Not a good experience
Hotel Feature Tip:
Rooms are lovely. Be prepared to pay for taxi to an from this hotel every day. Do not eat here.
