The view and surroundings are by far the best we've ever seen
A little bit far away from the centre but the hotel does provide a shuttle.
PANVIMAN means "as if from heaven" and you do feel as that's where you are. The surroundings are beautiful and the view is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had most of our meals there and everything was delicious and not overpriced. We booked through Agoda and for the price were amazed at the quality of the hotel. The only negative point is the distance from the city centre but depending on what you are after that might be a positive. The hotel does provide a shuttle if you would like to visit Chiang Mai for the day or the Night Bazaar. We went to the Night Bazaar and when we were picked up the hotel had sent cold towels and bottles of water which was a lovely touch!
We didn't use the spa but it looked lovely, very serene and peaceful. This hotel is ideal for couples looking for a romantic holiday, perhaps a honeymoon.

Beautiful hotel and they give a lot of ativity for the customers. Good ABF. Value for money.
A bit far from the city. Difficult to go if you don't have your own car.
Overall is very good. Service and Staffs are friendly. The hotel is very big and they provide the area for the big group. The room is beautiful and good decorated and clean. Good atmosphere so much. So If I have a chance I will be back again with my family. The road in the hotel is so steep a bit difficul to walk but the hotel they have a car for service the customers also.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Nearby the hotel they have tiger farm and small coffee and goo cake.

Beautiful area and well presented hotel, good value for money
Perhaps a little too remote if you like to go and see things and the spa treatments were as expensive as the uk
Good hotel for romantic short break things to do on site, maybe a little too grown up for kids. There were kids there but they were struggling to entertain themselves.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Travelsupermarket told us it was around 1 mile outside of Chiang Mai city and was in fact 1.5 hours away. Make sure you get a meter Taxi which will cost around 900bht as all other taxi charge between 1500bht and 2000bht. All in all very good hotel.
