The hotel was very exotic and out of the world beauty.

The bed was very tough and uncomfortable. We notify the staff a couple of times about our granite like bed but we were told nothing they can do about it. Therefore, we slept on a couch the next night (and it was more comfortable)

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The elephant camp show near by the hotel is a must see!

The mountain location. Close to Chiang Mai but also secluded. Scenery is beautifulnot only from the resort but in the resort.. All aspects of the resort are enjoyable.

The spa resort would present a challenge for handicap people. No elevator and many steps. The services of the spa were great but a little pricey.

We arrived at the resort and were transported to the hotel lobby for check-in. From that moment forward the services of the staff on the property was excellent. The food was very good and the services in the restaraunt was excellent. The spa was very good offerings a wide range of treatment. Living in Chiang Mai we found the spa prices a little on the heavy side. Given the mountain location the resort would be a challenge for handicap people. We plan to visit Panviman again and would recommend it.

- Beautifully designed hotel - Peaceful Gardens - Excellent Spa treatment service

- Freezing cold pool - what is the point if you cannot swim in it? - Inconsistent service - Some of the staff were helpful, while some seem to lack training which you expect at top hotels. They were all very nice...but just were not individually able to provide a well rounded service - and seemed to lack training. - Hotel does not provide discounted transportation service to Chiang Mai or the airport. Had to arrange own taxi - which we always had to arrange way in advance...rather than just being able to walk out and order a taxi.
