Very relaxing!
Location being remote, nature, clean

The little vans that take you to your room can be dangerous if they have an inexperienced driver as they did when we first arrived... thought we were heading down over the mountain as he kept stalling and going backwards down over the step hill. We go out then and walked up. Otherwise it was awesome!

beautiful relaxing surroundings in an older hotel
fantastic breakfast, beautiful views, great spa deals

the hotel is outdated and in need of repairs but still offers gorgeous views and has great food. the breakfast is very complete buffet and the staff is incredibly kind (there were no mangoes on our last day; upon my commenting sadly upon this, the head waiter came with two sliced mangoes for us, very nice!!). the spa is incredible- beautiful, deserted, and by US standards, perfect prices (approx $70 USD tax and tip included for a 3-hour spa treatment, not just massage, is great). it's a bit remote so expect to largely stay in the hotel.

Fantastic place for rest and peace and quiet
9.3
My husband and I went to this resort for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding annivaersary. We wanted to have a peaceful, relaxing 2 nights and it was just that! The resort is set on a mountain overlooking the valley below, is totally peaceful. Thought the resort if large, there a limited number of rooms, and lots of quiet secluded areas, making it feel like you have the whole place to yourself. If you're wanting romance, peace and quiet - this is perfect! The pool was really lovely (though a tad cold for my liking). The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The balconies were very large and a real pleasure to sit in. The staff were great. We brought a bottle of champagne which they chilled for us and served to us at dinner (without corkage fee). There are plenty of activities for kids too if you have them come along. The mountain which the resort is built is quite steep - walking everywhere is not recommended for those who are not too steady on your feet or low fitness level. But they do have a little shuttle van service in the resort which is more than happy to take you anywhere in the resort. We would definitely stay again

a nice relaxing place
nice room, good food and big pool
9.3
overall a great stay and would go back again. its sort of in the middle of nowhere so be prepared to drive to get anywhere or be happy at the hotel. we staying in the hotel for 2 nights and were happy relaxing in the room, pool, spa and playing in the outdoor games area (pool table, table tennis, giant chess, foosball, archery, petanque, golf putting - could do with a bar here too!!) only downside was the sliding doors to the bathroom were broken so we couldnt fully open or close...no privacy when using the 'facilities!" - little tuk-tuks take you around as the place is fairly big and very steep roads. this was fine as the place was pretty empty when we were there but maby not enough if busy. nice place tho..
