Couples Australia, December 24, 2012	Couldn't be better for an idyllic retreat Peacefulness, quiet and beautiful setting 9.3 We needed a facility not far from Chiangmai City to just chill out - relax and enjoy. Phu Jaya is up in the mountains and the perfect place to do this. The staff are wonderfully helpful and amenable, but they keep their distance so as to avoid intruding on your privacy. The rooms are generous in size and features and so wonderfully private. Late afternoons- early evenings spent on your private balcony with loving company and a red - nothing like it! Their restaurant food is a delight but a little expensive by Thai standards. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Probably not the place to stay if sightseeing is the purpose. Your own wheels are essential because of the relative remoteness and distance from Chiangmai city - 30 mins drive with no traffic.

Couples United Kingdom, September 02, 2012	Great boutique place for a weekend stay High standard rooms and fittings, great food, friendly staff 9.3 Really enjoyed our stay at Phu Jaya, a mini resort on the Samoeng loop from Chianng Mai. Excellent quality rooms with plenty of facilities, spotlessly clean and tidy, as was the whole resort really. Small restaurant serves excellent food and all staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back.
