Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Exceptionally friendly staff, perfectly clean rooms, convenient location for the old town
Staff were very friendly, for the time of first arriving at the hotel right through to receiving a very late checkout (4pm) at now extra charge.
The location is convenient to walking anywhere in the old town, and is perfectly quiet at night. The breakfast is not very imaginative, just toast with jam, tea/coffee, juice and water. The building itself is new and is being well maintained.
Restaurant Tip : right opposite Aaron Rai, claiming to be "best curry in town" -- which does seem absolutely true, at great prices

Location, Service, Cleanliness, Free Wifi, Price
This hotel felt like a little secret tucked down a quiet lane, but the location couldn't be more convenient being right at Thapae Gate. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and I almost had to run to keep some of the women from carrying my heavy bags for me! The room itself was clean and bright with strong air conditioning and a good shower with lots of hot water. While breakfast was included in my reservation, I never tried it out but understand it was a pretty simple offering anyway. The location at Thaphae Gate means you can walk to everything...restaurants, the Sunday market, used book shops. Only downside is the lack of elevator, which could be prohibitive for someone with mobility issues. Overall, just a great find for the price.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you travel away and need to use a ride to get back to the hotel, just tell the tuk tuk/songteau driver to take you to Thapae Gate...they might not know the hotel name but will definitely recognize this city marker and you can walk the 2 minute hop to your room from there.
