lovely hotel. we stayed in villa #2 and loved it. when u checked in the air-con is on (make sure u book air-con. the difference in price definitely worths it!) and relaxing jazz cd was playing that set the whole mood. floor to ceiling window and lots of sunshine. staff are nice. food is great and love the restaurants and breakfast. theres one computer for free internet access. free bikes to rent.
however, pool is a bit too small but sunbathing is fine. great escape from chiangmai city.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : i think one night is enough. not much to do at surroundings area unless you have a car. cycling is far harsh because of the slope.
make sure you walked (~5min) to the spa resort nearby (turn left and walk all the way straight). totally difference feeling and the whole resort is built on the slope. we went there for lunch and view was stunning. i suggest having dinner and breakfast at Proud Phu Fah and safe the lunchtime at that resort.
also hotel can arrange a car to take you to chiangmai cost 1000baht one way. you may wanna just call a taxt by yourself which is usually 700-800 baht.
for attraction, you need a car to travel in surrounding areas. u may arrange with hotel and it's 1800Baht for 8 hours (can go to chiangmai afterwards) exclude gasoline. main attractions include mae sa waterfall, botanical garden, and mae sa elephant camp (for the elephant show).
but i did was just to relax at the pool and walk to the resort nearby and come back to relax. good enough! :)

Good sight seeing.
good location.
Lots of mosquitoes.
too high ceiling.
unsafe toilet.
service is not good.
As searching from the website , this hotel is very beautiful and attractive. But when I reach the hotel , it's lower than I expected.May be because I went there in the raining season (end of raining season). But I used to stay here before at the first year of the hotel opening. It's better than this time. The service is very bad.... (for me). That will be the last time for me to pay for this hotel (without pay is OK ) . But it might be OK for other people but not for me .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Lot's of activities nearby. And lot's of good hotel nearby.
Winter is the best season to be there.
