The food in the raming lodge restaurant is fantastic. The staff there is friendly and always greet you with a smile. Unlike other hotel, the staff in this hotel serve you sincerely without expect a tips from you. A great experience to stay there. There is very least variety of the breakfast of the hotel. I stay there 4 days and have the same breakfast everyday. Perhaps some changes need to be done. The location of Raming Lodge is strategic, not far from the night bazaar and there is a lot of shops around it. Bars, Muay Thai show, massage center, souvenir shop is just around the corner. It is worth of money.
Shopping Tip : Bargaining skill is a must to be equipped if you want to have a great price at the night bazaar. It is really a shopping heaven and things here are extremely cheap. I will come again!!

Location, clean, big room try to get extra money at every chance Overall pleased with location and cleanliness of hotel. also great desk staff who were very helpful when I got sick in showing me the local clinic. a good deal IF you buy NOTHING at the hotel where prices are more than 10 times what you can get ANYWHERE else. Ex: 100 baht to airport (any taxi charges 40; small waters are $1 which any guesthouse gives for free; etc. (LOTS of similar examples). but walking diestance from most anything and a nice respite after a long day. don't go to the spa, their prices exceed even the fancy spas in teh rest of the city.
