The Hotel is located in a good position close to the centre of Chiang Mai....... Most of the temples are within walking distance. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food and the BBQ menu in the evening was extremely good value. The room was large and comfortable. The Hotel had a swimming pool and although quite small, was adequate for a quick dip.Because of the open style of the Hotel, it was a bit noisy. If you are staying there try and get a room on the higher floors. We stayed on the 2nd floor which was a bit close to the street level and the noise that came from that.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Jump in a Tuk Tuk......fun way to get around, but barter on price, they will always drop 10-30%

We were here for 3 nights lovely hotel we wanted to extend but the price had gone up too much so we had to move. The people are friendly, rooms clean and excellent massage and spa. Massage is dearer than the street but well worth it.
Shopping Tip:
Big C shopping centre is good air conditioned.

From the carpark guy, reception, house keeping and dining room great staff.
Stayed in a delux room wich was very nice, with fresh juice cake and fruit daily

Wonderfull hotel with friendly and polite staff. Very clean and very Thai in style.Perfect for walking to the shops and night market and within a short ride of many atractions.

We arrived at the hotel after a long flight from London via Bankok and found a very warm welcome from staff that spoke very good English. The room was very large and clean with lovely dark wood furniture, exactly what we had expected and hoped for. eating at the hotel was outdoor among palm trees and a great experience. Everything about this hotel warranted the given rating.Would stay again if visiting Chiangmai.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to Tiger Kingdom for an amazing experience up close with tiger cubs right up to 240kg cats that test your nerve to the limits. Just great big pussy cats and a truly spiritual experience.

Having never been to Chiang Mai, we wanted to stay somewhere central, and so we chose Raming Lodge Hotel, which was a great choice as it was only a short walk to the old town and Sunday night market to the west and a similarly short distance to the night Bazaar and many restaurants to the east. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, breakfast was delicious and huge and the pool very relaxing. Overall a truly great place to stay - highly recommended!

Sunday night market is only five minutes to the east

A home away from home!
Everything from the staff, the pool area, the service throughout the hotel, the food, the service at the front desk, the travel desk services, the location, and the spa staff and services... and of course... the price!

you are made to feel at home when you walk in. it is close to everything in the city center. the old part of the city is right there across the street. the night market is within an easy 15 minute walk. the sunday market is within about 100 yards. there is a 7/11 next door... well... everything anyone would need is right there.
the staff of the hotel will arrange anything for you from tours to motorbikes and cars. use them as they can get the best prices! the service by the pool is a real plus. you can swim, sit in the sun, and have a meal and drinks served to you and charged to your room (the prices are wonderfully cheap and the food is great). breakfast i fun. always different types of food is served so everyone will be happy! the rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. the bathrooms are the same. the tv's in the room get every news station except asia news network (though they did before). you can plu in your computer and play dvd's as well. the internet is a bit wrong. i always had to buy time from the front desk. that they should change! but that would be all i would suggest.
all of this for the rates that they are charging? perfect! stay there... even if you find cheaper. you will be happy with your stay here at this hotel!
Hotel Feature Tip:
The pool and the service the fact that you can order food and drinks and sit all day with no one bothering you and stay cool and refreshed and nap when you want to... well that would be reason enough to stay here!
