Beautiful Hotel. Attractively decorated.
Proximity to night bazaar.
Situated on a quiet street a short walk from the night bazaar. Great location. Large rooms and king-size bed. The rooms are a little dark however they a decorated to a very high standard and you certainly know that you are in Thailand. The room safe was too small and would not accommodate my laptop. Complimentary breakfast was very good. There was also a complimentary BBQ which we didn’t try. Free airport transfer was also included in the room rate, which was nice.

Good with some problems
Big room, big bedroom, good localization, good staff.
Big room, biiiig bed, big bathroom, very good staff. Good localization, every thing thet you can do in the city are around the hotel or selled around, so you can walk, rent a bicycle, or a motorbike just in them corner, but a lot of bar around also, not a problem for me, but if youre puritane... The shower is a big problem, it keeps alternating between hot and fresh water! Some times it burns! They hotel receive a lot of tourists, some come to see they nature and the city. The breakfest could be better, but for asian standards is good. The hotel spa is far more expensive then 90% of massage places in then city. A loooot of mosquitos bitting during the night! We asked for the staff to help us with them, but nothing was done...

Wonderful Hotel with one fatal flaw
Free meals, excellent service, beautiful courtyard, perfect room
i love this hotel, but i shall not return until i know that they have upgraded their wireless system. during the week of my stay (actually extended 3 days from the original booking)i could use the internet in my room only intemittently, and then the signal was almost always "poor" with one or two bars. at reception i received the suggestion to come to the lobby for a stronger signal, but it was about the same there - but a little stronger in the courtyard. several times i took a 5-10 minute walk to a coffee shop for a better wireless connection. i had two other small problems at the hotel. i was charged 118 baht (59 baht a minute) for an international phone call on which i was never connected, except to hear some clicking sounds. the number was correct - i later made the call from an internet shop with no trouble. the other problem arose in the courtyard, which was a great place for the free breakfasts and three free chicken kabob dinners that i had. non-smoking signs are posted near every table, but one morning a jerk was smoking at the table next to the one at which i would sit (the rain excluded most of the tables). i asked the staff to ask him to quit, but they would not insist after the jerk protested that he had been given an ash tray. finally i had to say something to the jerk, myself, which led to an altercation. it is too bad that in such a nice courtyard the staff are incapable of protecting the clean air and dealing, themselves, with customers who insist on polluting it. of course, thais generally avoid confrontations...bad karma, i think, whatever that is. aside from these problems, i have to say that the service was definitely superior - never had free meals like this before, and one receptionist was a great help to me in translating an sms i had received in thai and in replying for me in thai in order to invite a friend to dinner.

Good value
Clean rooms, friendly staff
As someone who is hard to please, I was very pleasantly surprised. Clean well furnished rooms, very friendly staff, and some beautiful Thai artwork in the rooms. I would definately stay there again.

Great Hotel
Clean rooms and staff attention to small details
this was one of the best hotels, for the price, that i have stayed in. the room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean as was the public areas. breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. and it was hot food for a change. the staff were very helpful and attentive. again a pleasant experience.

Great experience; room is large & so is bed
location & helpful staff
We were pleasantly surprised about the location of the hotel and the room. The room is nicely decorated & large - larger than other the average hotel room. Raming is just 5 to 10 min walk from the Sunday night & the Ausarn Markets. It was easy to arrange tours at the hotel. The free transfer from & to the airport is a bonus

Great place to relax
Big rooms with impressive bathroom. Great pool area and fantastic food. Staff always helpful.
flew in from bangkok and was greeted by friendly and helpful staff. our room had a kingsized bed and was decorated in dark timber furniture of an "island nature" on tiled floor. bathhroom opened up via a 4 folding glass doors into bedroom. i felt like a visiting vip! this was there low season, but the raming lodge seemed packed. this came as no surprise when we joined other guests for breakfast. what a feast of fried noodles (pad thai), fried rice, rice porridge, eggs cooked to order, bacon, sausages, baked beans, bratwurst, pumpernickle, breads, rolls, croisants, buns, salads, and fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cold fruit drinks, tea and great coffee. hotel is situated about 150m from the night markets.
