Great Location and a really nice hotel
Location, friendly staff, restaurant
10
This was a really nice hotel, located in the middle of everything, it was easy to get around, the staff are very friendly & the restaurant staff are fantastic as well as the food tasting great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The one thing that was a let down for me was the pool, as there was no shade to sit under, other than that the hotel was a fantastic experience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When going on the 1 day tour to the elephant camp (bamboo rafting, elephant ride, ox carting etc.,) make sure you take lots of 20baht, for tipping & to get the elephants food on the journey, this is one thing that the tour company didn't tell us, the guide told us on the way there, that was to late for us as we didn't take money with us because we thought we had paid for everything including lunch.

Great hotel. Great location and excellent staff
Excellent service and rooms
9.7
This has been by far the best hotel we have stayed in, in 4 locations in Thailand. Reasonably priced, great room with excellent bathroom. Staff were very accommodating. Good breakfast service.
Shopping Tip:
The night market down the road is a buzz.

Better than expected, good hotel
Large rooms, good location
7.7
Overall a good hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, available 24 hours a day. Rooms were large and kept very clean, with large open-style showers in the bathroom. AC worked well in the rooms. Very knowledgeable and helpful tour agent on site. Only concern was room security. First room I was assigned did not have working locks on the windows, and the in-room safe was not secured to the wall. Upon notification to the staff, they moved me to a nearby room that had working window locks and a secured safe. Note that the in-room safe is small, and cannot hold a laptop. Even with this issue, I would return to the hotel again, as everything else was very good.

Travel tip:

Great location and clean room
7.3
I had a good 4 night stay at the hotel. The room was big for twin sharing and very clean. The location was first class. Will certainly recommend to anyone going to Chiangmai.
Travel tip:
Looking for a good massage it's just opposite the hotel. Daily from 7 pm. Cheap and good.

Good Location, Friendly Staff
Free mini bar which got topped up every day with snacks and drinks
9.3
Stayed at Raming Lodge for 6 nights and couldn't fault it. For breakfast you can have the chef cook you an omelette or scrambled eggs while you watch. The bed was massive and the power of the shower was really good. We had no issues other than the price of the internet of 90 baht as they charged for a full day.

Lovely hotel with above average service
Spacious rooms, fantastic breakfast
9.7
My girlfriend and I traveled with our two teenagers each to
Chiang Mai. We travel for a living so stay in many different hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Raming Lodge as did
our children. The service was fantastic, the breakfast buffet awesome and the location was great! Thanks to the Raming for making our holiday in Chiang Mai and extra good one.
