Great hotel, perfect location, friendly staff
9.7
Had a great stay. Very good size and clean room. Enjoyed eating in the restuarant in the evening, good food at a very good price. Breakfast was ok although a liitle basic, could have had more choice. The only downside was the swimming pool whaich was good but rather small and too few sunloungers for the size of hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
Located in a very good area for nightlife on offer. Plenty of bars and food outlets on the doorstep and massive night market just up the street.

Great location and lovely hotel

Chiang Mai was a wonderful place to stay. The Raming lodge was close to the night bazaar and in easy walking distance to the weekend walking markets with massage across the road.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure you stay for the weekend if you like markets with more traditional products than the usual CDs and T shirs

Lovely staff, right down to the car-park attendant
Great location close to the Sunday night Walking Market, and the Night Bazarre. The street has some lovely Thai shops to browse through.

this is a lovely hotel to stay in. traditional thai rooms, love the 'french windows' to the bathroom from the main bedroom. the staff were very helpful. internet was good, but you need mozzie protection, as there are heaps of mozzies in the lobby and the restaurant. breakfast is fantastic. nice entertainment in the restaurant each night. fantastic location in the middle of everything.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
POPS Car/Bike Rental, just up around the corner (on main road) were very reputable. Hired a car and drove to Pai - fantastic experience on the winding road, and the fascinating hill-tribes. Love the Night Bazarre with the Nth Thai handicrafts.

Beautiful Hotel - staff are extremely attentive.
Great breakfasts. Lovely traditional Thai rooms, with hand-painted Thai pictures.
9.3
we enjoyed our stay at raming lodge hotel. great location, right in the middle of the buzzing scene, and close to the sunday night walking markets, and the night bazaar. restaurant is very good, and the 9pm singer is fantastic. also, lots of lovely traditional shops on this street, interesting jewellery, hilltribe crafts and art galleries. the car-ark attendant with his "quality dog" was a real character, and looked after our car very well. recommend pops car rentals, just around the corner on the main road. would stay at this hotel every time.
Shopping Tip:
Walk to the Night Bazaar. Bargain, as there are so many stalls selling the same items, a good price is bound to be got.

good location with larger than normal rooms
Close to the older part of town and the Night Bazaar, Plus just a short walk to the Aroon Rai Restaurant.

We were very happy with our accomidations at the Raming Lodge. Easy to walk to other places of interest in the area. Staff was very helpful with directions. Nice swimming pool and good transportation to the bus station. Don't bother with the tour to the handicarft areas in Chiang Mai thru the tour agency. Too expensive for what you get.
Travel tip:
Good location and very comfortable accomidations for the value

worth to stay- great value & service
excellent customer service
8.3
it was quite late already that night, around 11pm . luckily the hotel staff " her name is tumi" help me to arrange another hotel for that night (similar but not as nice as raming lodge) which is nearby night bazaar almost without any single delay until i checked in raming lodge on the next day. i m still grateful for their warm customer service. smiling faces of staff, room was in tip top well maintained and clean condition, great day tour services provided by hotel. although it's short stay, i m still missing to go back and will stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Night Bazaar every night. Sunday street market near Tha Phea Gate.
