Tranquil, beautiful setting Staff who strived to meet our every need Spa on site was remarkable; I was surprised that doctor who managed the spa was both a MD and holistic physician whose free aura reading confirmed what I knew about myself! Spa treatments were the best in the world Restaurant provided great views and food Spending New Year's Eve at this restaurant was a once-in-a-lifetime experience

Smoking in front of the fitness room was a turn-off for a facility that is labeled as a wellness spa. Smoking should occur in the parking lot

Once in a lifetime experience. This resort exceeded our expectation. We never felt we were in the middle of a busy city when inside the walls of Rarin. Staff was spectacular and pampered us beyond words. The spa is the best in the world. Thai yoga massage is the best we received in our fourteen day stay in Thailand. Our daughter is returning to Rarin in a month when her boyfriend visits Thailand.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Must see- Elephant Nature Resource Must do - Monk Chat Must do - Shop near hotel; prices are fair and quality better than the night market.

Good services. All staffs are very friendly and helpful! The room is very clean, big and beautiful.

The bed is very hard, it is not as soft as another five stars hotel. I am fine with the bed, but my couple friends couldn't sleep at all! This hard bed might not fit for everyone. The swimming pool looks very beautiful, but the water is freezing! It is disappointed that I can't swim! (I did try, but I can't stay there more than 3 mins!) The staff explained to me, Jan is winter, however the weather was very hot.

The spa & massage is excellent, no wonder they won the awards! I am so impressed all the massage oils and other things that they prepared for us. I was very surprise that they served us a tea buffet with delicious mango sticky rice after I finished massage!!! RarinJinda is a very friendly hotel. People are very caring, thoughtful and happy! I feel so relaxing staying there. The hotel is very central. It only takes 15 mins walk to the night market. A lot of restaurants and bars right next to the hotel. I love this hotel. I definitely will go back this hotel!

Shopping Tip : If you want to go to sunday night market, you can walk the left side of the hotel. Then, you walk across the bridge and keep walk straight. Takes around 15 to 20 mins.

Service, location, spa, building history

Restaurant next to street, not quite 5 star, mattresses rock hard

A few minutes away from the Night Bazaar, this gem awaits just outside the city center. The service is very dedicated, the spa top class, special mention for the rooftop jacuzzi and shower. Meals are served at the restaurant located on the other side of the street from the hotel; crossing can be difficult, helped by the assistance of two parking guards. The big no-no was that this restaurant is but a few meters away from an open road with constant traffic, although flanked by a river on the other side.

Very relaxing environment

Narrow selection of breakfast menu

Actually it is the first time i stay at Rarinjinda Hotel, Chiang Mai.. From the first minute i have stepped into this hotel, I was welcomed with great warm smiles and cold drinks. Rooms are fantastic, clean and neat.. Overall hotel environment are simple and family oriented. Of course i have plans to go back again and have a new experience at this hotel again on the nearest future.

It comes with a full-fletched spa

The hotel has very limited food outlet. Only one restaurant and not a lot of selection.

Generally, the hotel atmosphere is good. The check-in service is good with welcoming drinks. The room is reasonable, with complimentary fruits and drinking water. Also, for people who wish to relax, the spa is well located with a wide range of services. However, the concierge service is not helpful enough and the hotel only has one restaurant which is across the road. The food is just ordinary and nothing exceptional. Breadfast is also quite limited. Overall, the hotel is ideal for people who just want to relax at the spa and not do much in chiangmai.

Nice rooms and pool. Restaurant good with nice well priced imported house wine

STAFF ENGLISH WAS SO POOR WE GAVE UP TRYING TO ARRANGED TOURING WITH THEM, HAVING TO MAKE ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS.

This centrally located boutique hotel was a good stay. It was a welcome sight after a big day out. The hotel restaurant is located on the opposite side of the busy road, but attendants stop traffic to allow guests to cross. The food quality was good as was the overall experience. My wife and I would stay here again as it is walking distance to night bazaar, restaurants, large international hotels and shops

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : rating of staff performance was reduced only because of two-way communication difficulties. The taxi drivers will do A Day deal with you and will take you to all the attractions with added flexibility.

Great location.

Breakfast a little expensive if not included.

This hotel has been very well designed and built. The location is perfect and the swimming pool terrific. The room are great too with good bathroom but the bed is too hard. Dressing gowns are sexy silk! The staff couldn't be better. Spa excellent if a little expensive. The doctor who reads aura is a very helpful gentleman. The dining room across road is a little inconvenient ... but the food is ok and not expensive except for breakfast if not included in deal. Free internet usage in library and in room is a big bonus.

Perfect SPA, Great services, Nice Restaurant, Excellent value for Money

Everything was fine. Maybe in some days we need more toilet papier.

We spent there honeymoon with my wife and we had excellent services, nice room decoration. I suggest Wellness suite for Honeymooon. In SPA Doctor have an equipment that can read your aura to computer. Then on display you can see blockages of energy and that they can better prescribe thretment for you. The best treatmet was Ayurvedic oil massage. Hotel is good for people that like SPA. They offer many treatmets. I meet owner of the hotel & spa and that man has many experiencies with it. Restaurant that belong to the hotel (DECK1) is one of the bests restaurants in Chiang Mail. Perfect meals. Little bit expensive, but great value for Money.

Quiet location.

Shower and bath not hot enough. Breakfast at restaurant across the road a little disappointing. Use of steam room should be free for guests.

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of central Chiang Mai, this is a good option - quiet, but still only a 10 minute walk to the start of the night market. The rooms are very large and well set out, with nice balconies overlooking the pool. The pool is quite small and cold as it doesn't get much sun. The hotel advertises the steam room and spa as a feature, which implies that it is free for use by hotel guests. This is misleading, and use of the steam room is ridiculously expensive.

The people were the best, Friendly and most accomadating. The service and Cleanliness was perfect. The facilties had everything possible for a spa experience. The Food at the restaurant was great. Loved the Free internet Service.

i would of liked more Vegetarian and vegan options at the restaurant.

The hotel was the perfect size, not too big and not too small. The rooms were very large with plenty of room. The cleanliness was perfect. The pool was very beautiful and well maintained. The best of all was the staff service. They were most accomadating and welcoming all the time. I actually extended my stay for two days. I will return with a group of twenty people for my next tour that I organize. I was very pleased with everthing. The Location was great also.

Shopping Tip : Only ten minutes from the night Bazzar. The best shopping in Thailand. Save your shopping for Chaing Mai.

Clean room and hotel facilities, friendly smiles of employees, nice location to shopping and restaurant, reasonable price.

transportation service for airport pick-up and/or city tour are a little expensive. No gift shop and only one restaurant that is across the road and not very good food.

This hotel has very nice atmosphere for someone wants to be relaxed. It is because their spa based concept which welcome guests with nice herbal smell and friendly hotel staff's smiles. It is also located very convenient area for shopping and city tour. I would like to stay there again.

Nightlife Tip : There are a couple nice open air restaurants near the hotel within walking distance by river bank. They are both nice atmosphere, good foods and reasonable price.

Extremely helpful staff. A wonderful spa.

Price. Cold pool.

We stayed here over Christmas and found it a truly luxurious place to stay. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate. The spa was fantastic - although by no means cheap in comparison to other resorts in the area. However as we had booked it as a Christmas treat it was perfect. The hotel offers free internet, as well as a complimentary consultation with the doctor to have your aura read! It is well situated near the night market (with a free shuttle bus each evening) and restaurants, bars and art and craft shops nearby.

Restaurant Tip : I would recommend a visit to the nearby brasserie for dinner if you stay here. What at first appears to be a deserted pub turns out to be a stunning river view restaurant with live music and gorgeous Thai and western cuisine!
