istayed only one night in this hotel i didn't know any thing about this hotel before but when i arrived there i found the hotel in heart of every where u want to go, i didn't need to catch any taxi or any thing to go for dinner, so if u ever looking for location just go and stay there,you'll find every thing you need around you

i've been coming back to this hotel year after year. i'd have to say this is one of the best hotels in chiang mai, the staff really go out of their way to make you feel at home. the food is great, the service is great. there's even avis in the hotel if u need to rent a car. its location near the night bazaar and restaurants is great coz transportation is not that easy in chiang mai unless if ur renting a car. the taxi drivers and tuk tuk will always over charge you. i recommend renting a car coz its not that expensive plus u get to see more.

royal princess hotel in chiangmai is a wonderful hotel with a great location suitable for family pleasure and the traffic to place is very comfortable . eventhough i have not got what i have requested for a big bed , but they have try to place me a queen size bed , at least they tried something . another thing is that the room rate has not include the abf which i have to pay my own and i think the abf is a bit too simple . however , overall i still think this is a fantastic hotel that i surly will go again for my next trip and recommend to people i know .

we had an excellent stay at the royal princess. the staff were always very polite. the hotel was very comfortable and clean. the reception area is functional. the food in the dining room was very good.
trips organised were excellent, apart from the very expensive cost proposed for a taxi

Excellent location for the bustling night market.

I always come to eat Dim Sum here in the hotel, but have never actually spent a night. The room was clean, the staff was nice....and you can't beat this location. It's right in the center of Night Bazaar, and everything is there. Great time!

The aircon in the room is so fantastic, it is not switch off at all even when we are out of the room. When returning back to the room, immediately we can feel the coldness in the room. Comparing to other hotel the aircon will be off automatically when you left the room. after a whole day out feeling so hot and sweaty, when returning back to the room, we need to turn it on and wait a while for it to get cold before we can feel the coldness in the room.

Central for the night market. Improved recently.

we have stayed here a few years ago. the hotel has been improved in decor and bathroom facilities. the staff are as helpful and pleasant as always. there are only 2 computers in the lobby that are not enough when there are children as guests. the location is central to the market but inside the hotel is pleasantly quiet.
Restaurant Tip:
1. turn left out of the hotel then left again down loi krot to find cafe with very good american breakfast that is open early in the morning (much cheaper than hotel)

Great location and friendly staff

The chiang mai hotel was perfect for what we needed, the night Market was right outside the front door, the staff were brilliant....we wanted to do the elephant trekking and tiger kingdom but only had a short stay, we asked about doing them around 10 at night and we was on the next morning. The rooms were lovely with 2 double beds, a great outside pool, great food but cheaper outside the hotel as expected, overall a great experience and would recommend to others.
