This popular city center hotel offers a convenient base right next to the famous night bazaar and several other markets. The Royal Princess Hotel, now managed by the five-star Dusit Hotels Group, has long been a favorite with visitors to Chiang Mai because of its proximity to the night bazaar as well as other local markets, all within walking distance. Numerous shops, restaurants, convenience stores and internet cafes line the street outside of the hotel. Its location close to the Old Town also makes exploring the city’s historical sites and many temples very convenient. Even though the hotel is located within the night bazaar, it is pleasantly quiet and peaceful inside. Royal Princess Hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation in the downtown area.

good location and easy to find and helpful staff breakfast not included in price. bathroom looked a bit tired and some of the decor in the bathroom could have done with some sprucing up Nice hotel in a good location in the heart of Chiang Mai. Near the nightlife and local markets and food courts. Staff pleasant and room was large enough and comfy bed and enough amenities that are required. Trips can be arranged from the hotel if you wish.Stylish rooms and lobby.
Restaurant Tip : near the galare food court where you can get good but cheap eats

Location and good breakfast selection too many mosquitoes in the room There were so any mosquitoes in my room and I killed at least 10 of them on my first night. After complaining to them and requested they spray the room during the day (when we're out and about), I thought it'd be much improved on my second night. But I killed another 10 more too on my second night!

The closeness to the night market was the best thing about the hotel. All we had to do was walk out the front door. There were no cons. We were only there one night and everything was fine. Though we arrived in Chiang Mai late in the evening we were still able to do a little shopping as the night market was a mere five minute walk from the front door of the hotel. Also, once we were ready for bed the hotel was super quiet and that was wonderful for us. The size of the rooms made it roomy for adults with a child as he had a place to play and watch TV.
