Really, the context is really nice, the sunday market its really close (50 steps) ! a lot of boutiques and the guesthouse is in a cosy place, we would think you are outside the city !

Saithong Guest house is just 1-2 minute walk to Sunday Walking Street. Friendly service, quiet place and beautiful garden, but I dislike the bathroom without door.

It a small nice guest house. Owners ae pretty nice, the guy speaks good English, but the lady don't. The garden looks nice.. But a lot of mosquitoes.. Not much service since its so small.. No breakfast provided.. The bathroom facilities where not good, very very very small and old, doesn't look very clean.. No soap or hair dryer. The room is sort of in old style.. Not bad.. But sooooooooo small, I don't even know where to put my suit case. Only suggest to stay there on Sunday

we really enjoyed our stay of 3 nights. the owners and staff are really friendly and helpfull. off the main road to be quiet at night...other then the neighbour-hood dog barking. the newly designed rooms look great but the 30 watt bulbs and dark paint on the ceiling made for poor visibility. hot water (after a long trip), fridge and fresh drinking water, comfy bed were most welcome. watch your head going into the bathroom.
Nightlife Tip:
Night market just down the street on Sundays. More local crafts then the other night market

The staff was great and the price was very good as was the location overall. However, we preferred a larger room with more amenities, so we booked another place after our first night. Still I would recommend this place.

Go mountain biking, there is a great tour company in the town!

great 2 days experience in chaing mai . very convenient to travel around the city. if you would like to enjoy the sunday market, this is the place.
Travel tip:
Have some mosquitoes. The hotel provides you the mosquito net to protect during the night.

We enjoyed our stay here. It is within walking distance to anything within the old city walls. The rooms are clean and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
