close to some very popular (more high end) restaurants but a 15-20 min walk to the closest night market (tourist area), but easy to get tuk tuk or walk though. very clean rooms and good srvice for the price in a nice quiet location (no traffic noise). I would stay again.

Good hotel, but very far away
Good rooms, cleanliness, staff attentiveness
6.7
The hotel is good, rooms are big and clean.
The bed is realy confortable and the air conditioned does not make noise!!
The reception staff is very kind and try to answer to all your questions.
The breakfast is not good for an ocidental traveller. However, I didn't find a good breakfast in Tailand. They eat rice at breakfast... and ocidental travellers like bread, cheese, ham, eggs... Its a cultural problem!
The hotel is very far away of the tourist atractions. You will always need to travel by tuc-tuc to get to the city center (about 30m-45m walking... we did it once and we regreted it).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tip: Book an elephant training. We went to "Woody's Elephant Training Center" and it was the best day spent in Tailand.

Fabulous stay
Great location in a quiet street, large and clean room and bathroom, nice breakfast, friendly and helpful staff
9.3
we had a very nice stay, great value for money, location top if you don't want to stay in the bustling city center. there are plenty of restaurants just around the corner, some of them with live music at night.

Great Hotel for a Family Vacation
Every thing except Break fast
9
This is arguable the best Hotel we have stayed in Chiangmai. Such as clean Hotel and ideal location for Saturday / Sunday and Night Market.
The Hotel needs to sincerely improve the break fast menu, otherwise people who plan to stay for more than 2 to 3 days will not prefer to stay here. Just six standard plate served break fast menu. You will get bored after the first day.
Shopping Tip:
The Saturday and Sunday market is 5 mins drive.

Great hotel, with great service, clean.
Huge room, very, very clean hotel. Pool.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very lovely hotel. Always very clean. Room was large! Very clean/updated rooms. Very clean, nice bathroom/shower. Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included in our cost. Decent breakfast. Pool was nice.
Only disadvantage was it was a far walk to any nightlife/clubs/restaurants. It took us about 30 minutes to walk to the core area. Only about a 5 minute tuk tuk ride. However, walk was very nice.
Nightlife Tip:
If you are interested in staying in the "backpackers" area/nightlife area, it is a bit of a distance away. However, we were quite pleased to have this hotel over others in the other area.

Great location with big clean rooms
Big clean rooms, friendly staff and lovely pool area
9.3
we stayed here 7 nights with 2 small children who slept on a spare bed head to toe. the room was a great size and was always kept very clean and serviced as soon as we went down for breakfast. all staff were very friendly and helpful when asked about anything. breakfast was good, fruit, eggs, bacon, toast, jam and help yourself tea and coffee. hotel is in a nice quitet location & only a 2 min walk to catch a tuk tuk or pickup. great indian restaurtant next door. laundry facilities 2 min walk away. good gym with air con and good size pool. our room looked out over the pool and restaurant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The beginners ATV course is not for beginners and especiallly not suitable to take children on, don't believe what the ATV company tell you. They took us along the edge of a mountain with a sheer drop and deep gullies to negotiate.

Lovely hotel with a "Meh" breakfast.
8
Very nice, clean place. Sits at a quite place away from all the night life. I walked to city and markets everyday from here, not that far since I like walking. Breakfast was fine but not much there for a vegetarian like me. Ladies got unhappy when I asked for more fruits, but I didn't care, they did give me more fruits. Pool was nice, clean not crowded. Overall a very nice hotel to stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Hinlay Curry House next door is a wonderful place to eat, but it is not Thai food. Also, there are laundry facility near by. Ask the receptionist.

All round good hotel for a good price
9
A 5 min UK tuk from the centre of the city but it is a great hotel you can't complain about. Clean, professional, big comfy rooms, okay breakfast, cool refreshing pool, friendly star, on a quiet street. Restaurants on riverside are a few mins walk. Very good hotel for a very good price. Stay here
