Again had to deal with rude front desk staff, I actually think it is the same guy every time who sort of spoils it for the hotel in my opinion. I should get his name the next time I visit. All rooms are nicely done, albeit a bit aged if you ask me. They are nice and big and have a great bed in them. The air conditioning tends to be a bit noisy, but other than that the hotel is a great option when staying in Chiang Mai.
Iron and board in each room. Great view overlooking the river. Awesome beds. Nice shower.
Some of the front desk staff are simply rude, poor mini bar selection, expensive room service food for Thai standards.
- Hotel Feature Tip : I booked without breakfast, I'm not a big eater in the morning and find a 500 Baht charge for a breakfast too much. Instead, for a mere 120 Baht a great sandwich can be had at the lobby coffee shop.

Upgraded the night before, the lovely young lady checking me in extended my stay in the same upgraded room. A far cry from the somewhat rude young man the night before. The main reason for me to frequently stay at this hotel are the beds, which are soft and comfortable and long enough for me (193cm) to feel comfortable in. Usually, my feet stick out of the hotel beds in Thailand. The shower in this Junior Suite was also especially nice, but the bath (as is typical for Thailand) way too small to really enjoy.
Great view while having breakfast, good location near the "super highway" providing easy access to the entire city.
Poor mini bar selection, no overnight dry cleaning, no pay-per-view movies.
