Songkran in Chiang Mai is a wonderful time, lots to see and do. The hotel was very quiet during the day as almost everyone was out and about. The hotel did not seemed full, yet on New Years eve it was a bit noisy with other guests (seemed right next door) reveling until the wee hours. It seemed the hotel might have spread people out. Another pet peeve was the room door bells-very loud. You can hear all the adjacent rooms on the floor from your room.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel is new and location is not well know as yet with the drivers. Bring a map with the location circled. If you are looking to enjoy walking tours of the city center, there are several new hotels close in.

The location is handy.
- Shopping Tip : For those who fancy to buy something chic and enjoy a peaceful walk, Nimmanhemin Road will be one of the best picks in Chiang Mai. Small boutiques, cafes and a hip hotel, At Niman Conceptual Home, will give you a bit surprise.

The room we got was huge. Like a giant suite. I was upgraded, and it had a great balcony on it that we could see the sunset over Chiang Mai at night. Beautiful. Just next to the river, which doesn't seem to have much traffic on it, but again, if you want a quiet and peaceful place to stay that's clean and has good value, this is it. 9.5/10 for me. I'd definitely come back.
Room and overall value great.
Quite a distant from the main centre of Chiang Mai, but not really a bad thing for me.
