Beautiful hotel, Lovely swimming pool, friendly staff, spacious room with authentic thai style

a bit far from downtown

We had very pleasant time at this place, people are so nice, treat every guest like a family. Rooms are spacious and decorated in thai style, balcony oversee gardens and swimming pool. Swimming pool is beautiful! Location is a bit far from downtown but it's ok since we were seeking a quite place to relax, you can use Mr. bird's tuktuk service - another friendly and warm-hearted thai local. We had great time there and definitely will stay again if we go back!

The free bike service was a real bonus. We were provided with sketchmaps of the local area, marked with markets and wats and took full advantage to explore the local area. A high point was a recently restored Wat which had Hieronymus Bosch style murals, including one wall portraying local history - monks coming to the rescue of the local population after a flood. The hotel uses a local tuk- tuk driver and taxi driver, who were very friendly and took us both, into Chiangmai and further.
