If it was not for the very pleasant lobby bar and reception staff I would not not go back to the Suriwongse. If I go back, I will bring my own coffee ingredients from the nearby 7/11 convenience store, and not go anywhere near their inhouse buffet breakfast.
- Hotel Feature Tip : As with all hotels in Thailand there are numerous 'taxi' drivers outside the hotel trying to charge ridiculous prices for short journeys. There is a shortage of taxis with meters - so setting a price before a trip is the norm.
Make sure you do not just accept what they quote - they will come down, if they do not, go to another one.
Hotel is good for touring around

The hotel is quite old. It is in an excellent location (in front of night bazaar). I wouldn't recommend to anybody because of the mosquitoes.
