A very nice hotel. I'll be back and will recommend it to my friends. Very nice design. Looks just like what the photos have showed. And Elle, the girl working as a GM in the hotel was very helpful. Very quiet and clean. Strongly recommend it. Its breakfast is simple but nice. Its beautiful garden is the most atracktive factor to me.

Very nice design! I like it very much.

None.

  • Hotel Feature Tip : Don't not choose hotel in the city, too noisy. Choose hotel like Tadkham outside city, very quiet.

This hotel was very nice with romantic atmosphere. especially i liked breakfast that has several choice for main plate with buffet for drink, rice or bread, fruits. i just had hard time with small ants coming from somewhere into room, even into my baggage, even though the room itself was very clean. Better not to keep your baggage open and you should not put anything sweet in your room. if you keep them it wouldn't be any problem. Best part about this hotel was, we happened to stay here on Sat when they have Saturday Market nearby which was really good but we forgot to bring map of the hotel and could not find the way back to hotel which located a little inside from the street.

Atmosphere,Near to Saturday Market

Ants

  • Shopping Tip : Saturday market in chiangmai near this hotel was pretty nice with local price. they sell cheaper than Sunday market they say. they have nice massage 60B for 30min. they sell many of bamboo soup which was hard for us. market closes when it started rain. market is quite huge, and you might not be able to see everything even though it is along one street.

Good everything.

Bad: The only "problem" is you have to take a Tuc tuc (50 bath) for going to the night bazar

one of the people working there (man, woman?) never once smiled at us the entire time - and always seemed to just stare at us every time we left our room to jump on the internet (which was terribly slow) or eat breakfast. It was actually disturbing and uncomfortable. (At least smile, if you can't speak another language). Breakfast was not bad, in that eggs were freshly made to order each day, and brought out to your table, which was nice - also pretty filling - but not much variety if staying a long time there. Overall, the place was "cute" in appearance from the outside, but the rooms were lacking in some areas, although very spacious, and decent value I suppose for the price. If you are into silver, the "silver road" is right around the corner, and very close to walk to. Hard to get info on tours (or book tours), other than through brochures laying around. We checked into the CM Gate Hotel down the street for the next 2 days, to book tours with English speaking staff, and receive a warm welcome with a smile (and cheaper, discounted rooms). If you want to book tours in Chiang Mai, I would recommend staying with other official "hotels" that have tour desks that can book for you. We found a wide variety of tours with excellent prices at the CM Gate Hotel, and were very pleased with our stay there.

cute from the outside, free (but slow) internet , free breakfast, spacious rooms

the staff (one in particular), and room comfort - no bars of soap, no wash cloths, no hair dryer, and poor lighting for reading.

  • Nightlife Tip : The night market near the river is not far away by tuk-tuk, and you can even walk there if you are up for it. If you are in Chiang Mai on a Sunday, you should definitely hit up the Sunday night market on Ratchadamnoen street - it is really fun, and especially great for food & crafts (especially the hilltribe items).

WE (8 of us) stayed in the Tadkham for 10 days in August. It is a very peaceful, pleasant place to stay. WE found the location terrific. It is a pity that there is no pool, but there is a great public pool in Chiang Mai Land, which is worth a visit. The photos on the web site are very accurate.we would all definitely stay in the Tadkham again.

staff very friendly.location terrific.very close to the food market. rooms kept very clean.very peaceful athmosphere.

rooms a little dark.no snacks or food of any sort served other than at breakfast time.

  • Restaurant Tip : Come out of the Tadkham and turn left.there is a little restaurant on the right hand side. all meals 30 baht.very tasty.

A sweet little boutique hotel in Chiang Mai. Very nice room with a king size bed en nice cealn bathroom. The staff was very friendly a the use of internet was for free. In a quite street but very easy to reach the center of Chiang mai from there. Also the spa, with massages and other treatment was absolutely great. We very sorry that we only stayed for 3 nights there cause it was a perfect place to relax.

Nice room with kingsize bed. Good service and great spa. very cosy family hotel in a great surrounding. very quite.

no points of weaknesses for me

  • Hotel Feature Tip : Just the best place to relax after trekking in Chiang Mai surroundings

If you need a large shopping centre, Airport Plaza is 10 minutes and 50 baht by tuk tuk. Spend some time relaxing in the gardens with the gold fish - there is one in a tub in the forecourt who will come and nibble your finger if you hold it in the water! Also have bikes for rent for those who want to make their own way.

  • Travel tip : As always in Chiang Mai - go to the night bazaar. Great fun.
