Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Lovley place and good view
8.7
This hotel is a lovely place, very quiet, suitable for honeymoon. The hotel is very clean, It has a swimming pool but I have no chance to use it. The location of this hotel is good not far form the Chiang-Mai city, no traffic jam. The breakfast is very good, vegetable in Salad is very nice very fresh. and very delicious.

Fantastic room and services
Fantastic room, pool, free airport transfer, great breakfast
8.3
I couldn't have been more happy with the room. Good size and equipped with TV and DVD player, kitchenette including a fridge, safety box, hairdryer. I was especially impressed by the bathroom's double shower head! My room overlooked the pool which I unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy but it looked beautiful. Breakfast was great with a range of cereals, fruits, yoghurts, Western and Asian foods. Although the hotel is a little bit far out, the hotel provides a free bus into town at 6.30pm. Leaving at another time, I managed to pick up a songthaew fairly quickly after walking outside. The hotel provides free airport transfer. The staff were very courteous. I would definitely stay there again, well worth the money.

Fantastic Hotel - Real Quality
Bed size, Room size, Everything you could want
8.7
I can not say enough about this hotel. I had noted other comments which commented that it was a little outside of the town which is true however, within less than 5 minute walk you have a whole Bank of ATMs, a street full of restaurants and bars, Tesco is a 15/20 minute walk and there are more restaurants there. The hotel has transport into the city (you just need to ask) and it should only cost about 20/30 Bhart to get back to the hotel on a tuck tuck which are all over the place and will be touting for your business. They are easy to pick up almost anywhere so if you want to go to the night market for example just walk out to the main road and flag one down or look at a map and you will have one stop in seconds to offer you a lift!
Restaurant Tip:
Do go to some of the street markets and try the food - we were there for 10 days and often eat from the street vendors and neither of us were ill. I would stick to cooked food though.

Great Hotel
Large rooms, clean and well maintained, good breakfast although limited unless you like Thai breakfast but has fruit, cereal, toast and eggs any style

I can highly recomment this hotel, the service is great, the rooms are large and clean, all the amenities you would expect from a good hotel. The swimming pool is great and the aircon works.
There is a hotel bus if you need it although a Tuck Tuck from town is only about 20B - don't let them tell you it is much more although some may charge about 30 as it is just out of the old town. Within an easy walk are loads of restaurants & bars.

we had a great time at the hotel. we loved the large spacious rooms. we loved the hospitality and the food.
this would be a great hotel if you had a car and did not need to find a ride every time you wanted to come back.

Great stay
Friendly staff, safe & well accommodating
8.3
This was an extended stay after I had a motorbike accident, the staff was very helpful & accommodating to my newly obtained handicap. Communication was just right as long as you remember who are the good engligh speakers, as with all Thai hotels, there is usually at least one per shift, however with the Napat, during business hours, there is the one plus a manager not to far away, always ready to resolve any issues at hand. I never been at so much peace until I stayed here. It was a little pricey for me to get the one bedroom, but well worth it.
Shopping Tip:
There is a Tesco just on the outskirts of the city & if you take your own rented wheels, make sure to buy a real map. Other than that, sorry, didn't come upon to many (any) shopping centers, but there are many shops throughout the old city. If you venture further out, much more to be found.

Perfect Apartment
Good size, full kitchen, nice cross breeze...everything I would want in a western apartment
8.3
First of all I wouldn't call this a hotel, however I did only try out the 1-bedroom, the studios may be more hotel oriented. The facility is very secure, very safe, with easy access to renting either a car or motorbikes at a fair price. There is a pool & gym out back - didn't try, but looked of a very good standard. The 1-bedroom was my best stay in Thailand thus far, didn't even need the AC, just opened the windows & fell asleep with the cross breeze. No thin walls & daily cleaning - been in serviced apartments before and these are fully accommodated.
Restaurant Tip:
All I can say is ask, there are restaurants all around the old city and in town. The apartment is a little ways outside town, but a short distance if you have wheels. Light traffic, good weather, friendly people and a Jazz bar...don't know more to ask.

Modern hotel with horrible service
Huge rooms, very clean, good choice of TV channels
5.7
this is my third stay at grad napat and it seems that beside the fancy amenities, big rooms and polite staff i will be forced to change the hotel on my next stay in chiang mai. biggest advantage of grand napat is size of the rooms and relatively new hotel building with clean room and good maintenance service. opposite to that, small for the size of the hotel restaurant, desperate service at the breakfast, waiters were completely lost in space: for one omelet you are waiting for 30min at least and the worst part was that on our last day inspite that we came in 9:30 for breakfast the buffet was empty and waiters were not showing any intention to refill!!!guys you lot a valuable customer and would recommend everyone to avoid this hotel in the future!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must see Baan Tawai
