Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Nice Hotel for price
Easy walking distance to nightlife
7.3
Stayed here for 4 nights, it's near the night bazaar and easy walking distance to most of the city. The rooms are adequate although starting to show a bit of wear and tear. The 2 swimming pools are a nice touch after a hard days shopping. The breakfast was a good choice of all different tastes.

Impressive hotel close to Night Market
Large rooms, amenities, proximity to night market and old city , helpful reception
9
Hotel is very large with large rooms, great views over old city to mountains or over night market area and pools. You need to specify which at your booking also twin or king beds. You may not get what you want at first night but because of the large number of rooms it is possible for your room to be rearranged next day. Older style furnishings and decor in good condition. Non smoking hotel. Reception very efficient. Pools are large and one is good for diving. Small well equipped fitness room not used much. Did not use restaurants.
Restaurant Tip:
For thai style breakfast at very low prices walk left along street cross intersection and discover several small restaurants along footpath. Use picture book to choose. 100 baht for two.

Great location as advertised
The location is perfect - walking distance to the Night Bazaar and the Tha Pae Gate.

The hotel was older style but clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I didn't have the breakfast but the coffee shop across makes the best coffee in Thailand so i didn't miss it. Excellent laundry service across the road and friendly and helpful tuk tuks at the main gate. I would stay again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Coffees shop across the road serves best coffee in Thailand.

Great Value for the Money
Location, Breakfast, staff

my grandmother always said there are too many people who want too much sugar for a dime. i am always amazed by budget travelers who say bathroom old, carpets older, etc., etc. now they want a four seasons hotel for fifty dollars per night and i would say that they should stay at the four seasons for hundreds of dollars per night more. this is an excellent hotel for those of us who face reality. great staff, great breakfast, good location and one of the best deals in chiang mai. i will admit that i am prejudiced because i have stayed there many times (i have also stayed at the four seasons).
