Just a good Hotel!!
Good accommodation with reasonable price.
9.7
Totally, this hotel is pretty good in my opinion. It's location, guest room, restaurant were suited to my needs. Especially hotel's Chinese restaurant, I can't remember the name, it's atmosphere and food taste were perfect, I really enjoyed dinner there.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The Imperial Spa has varieties of spa treatment that you should try.

fast service and great location

Big breakfast with a lot of variety. We were on our honeymoon, and they had complimentary cake and some fruit waiting for us in the room. The bathroom had tiles that were a little bit old looking, they could have used a more heavy duty cleaning than the normal room service. The decor around the hotel had interesting decor that looked local, in particular the paintings that looked like the ones done by elephants in one of the camps. Transportation was easy with all of the tuk tuks and taxis outside, but you didn't really need it with the night market, sunday market, and free shuttle to the night safari from the night market about five minutes away. Staff was great, and very quick with their service.
Travel tip:
night market is a must see and very close

Lovely hotel that was very reasonablably priced.
The help ful tour and taxi desk in the foyer.

a five star hotel in its day whereby the reduced room rate accounted for the fact.
pleasant pool and spa area and good selection at the breakfast buffet.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Strongly recommend you visit the Tiger Farm / restaurant on the way back from the elephant farm. The temple on the hill was just incredible.

Location, buffets
location and meals in the main restaurant.
7.3
The hotel is 23 years old and the rooms are showing their age. The bathroom is inadequately ventilated for showering and the walls and ceiling paint is nearly gone. The shower tiles also had mildew stains.
The breakfast buffet is very nice and most days the lunch buffet has a wide selection of dishes and is only Baht 200++.
Shopping Tip:
very close to the night bazaar.

Great location near to the many activities
Breakfast selection was great and plentiful
8.7
the location was great and the staff was very helpful in all respects. the room was very quiet and with the proximity to the elevator very convenient and the gardens (beer garden) was very nice. i would encourage all those who are traveling to chiang mai to stay at the imperial mae ping hote.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walking around the area at night is exciting and very entertaining and the night bazaar has many small stores to start your bargaining. I would tell you never to buy the first
price but shop around

Big hotel on nice location.
7.7
This is a big hotel, with many rooms, but you do not feel as if you are in a big hotel. Good service and friendly people. The hotel has got a swimmingpool, beer garden, fitnessroom, sauna and a big parking place. The hotel is close to the city-centre.

Very good for price, nice breakfast, good staff, excursion girl great. Had to cancel a trip due to illness (girlfriend hangover) and they booked us for next day.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to riverside restaurant. Nice food, not dear and great live bands. You might have to book in high season.
