Walking street market on Saturday at the front door, private little resort / guesthouse. The staff were extreamly friendly and helpfull!!
The bed for me ( pregnant with a bad back) was a bit hard.
Walking street market on Saturday at the front door, it is a great private little resort / guesthouse. The staff were extreamly friendly and helpfull!! There is free internet and abgood breakfast and the city centre is cheap by TUK aswell about 60 baht
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Spend the extra money ad go do a day at Attaya Elephant farm it is an unforgettable experience.

The staff and the building, combined they made the stay here very relaxing
Limited (but very tasty) menu
We were here for 4 nights before our wedding. It was a perfect place to relax a quiet environment with very attentive staff and a very kind owner, Xing-xing

The staff and owner made us feel immediately like family, the ambiance of the place, the room, hospitality
Location is somewhat of an issue first time around
This was a much needed break from Bangkok where the outside buzz disappears as soon as you walk through the front doors.
A colonial setting with thai influence. Great architecturally, appealing and inviting. The interior was perfect for the room right down to the minor details.
The staff are very warm and welcoming and the owner (Sing Sing) made us feel immediately like family. They arranged all our transport needs and prepared a delicious breakfast.
The family that owns this place tries to promote the thai culture and is evident in the way the place and the people are presented; beautiful and warm :)
Travel tip : Heaps of small food stores on the main street not far from the hotel if you are into street food. Ask Sing Sing for other dining recommendations.

This hotel is a little small so be sure to book in advanced during the busy season.
Restaurant Tip : "Love at First Bite" serves up some of the best pies and cakes I have ever had the privilege to taste. It was like there was a party in my mouth and I was invited! Tucked away Although a deviation from Thai cuisine this little desert restaurant is one of the worlds best kept secrets. hidden away down a small soi off the river road makes this desert adventure only for the worthy. PS, Bring someone you love or love to eat deserts with.

Look this place is not for everyone. If you are after a romantic place to stay in Chiang Mai, then I would recommend this to you. If you are one for sitting around in the room, a bit of telly and working then this isn't.
Shopping Tip : This place is on the "Silver Street", go out and look at a couple of shops. Red Bus is 20 Baht to the night market area.

nice atmosphere, personal attention, traditional Thai design.
We choose this hotel because its a small boutique hotel. We got a warm welcome and immediately feel at home. Its run by a friendly family and they will help you with advice about the nice things to see.
Breakfast is simple but adequate - don't expect a hotel chain breakfast. But if you choose for a small boutique hotel its ok. It has its charm as we prefer to mix our hotel destinations: sometimes 5 star and next time boutique hotel.

Around the lack of downtown hotel rooms too small
Town south of the hotel in the old one, the hotel is very small, little room, the room is not big. But quite warm. Very Thai style. Breakfast general.
