+ real natural atmosphere (not so far from city)
+ excellent services from all staff
+ great photos just like appear in all magazines
As I experienced, NONE !!!
The Height is a great place for people who wants to re-charge their batteries, forget all the numbers from work, and enjoy the relaxation which nature can offers. You can forget the city and just stay in the hotel, they offer everything, as you name it, I have great experience with their services. It is even better for couple, I guarantee !!!

The hotel's service was great, staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself was very beautiful, good view, loved the restaurant where we ate breakfast.
A bit of a distance from the city, around 20-30 mins of car ride, so if you know the Chiangmai area, it would be a very good idea to rent a car. Or you would have to haggle with the taxi drivers over the prices everytime you want to go somewhere. Gets quite annoying.
It was a romantic getaway, which was very worth the money we paid for through Agoda. The hotel was nice, and memorable, the service was also very memorable. One day after breakfast, we wanted to bring our coffee and dessert back to our rooms to enjoy, the waitress insisted that she carry the stuff for us, when we offered a tip, she did not accept and said it was her responsibility. Very good service and helpful with any information you need about Chiangmai. Just the transportation was a bit annoying to haggle the prices with taxi drivers every single time. So would be very wise to RENT a car!
Hotel Feature Tip : You can ask the reception to arrange transportation for you no matter if it is the complimentary transfer they have, or a taxi driver, it will be more convenient for you.

Layout of the hotel is very relaxing. It's like sitting in a crop growing field. And yet we enjoyed the hip design and every comtemporary facilities. Services was good. Staff were very nice & helpful. Free shuttle to & from the night bazaar.
Our room was filled by a very bad smell like coming from the sewage system after getting up in the morning.
The wireless did not work with own notebook though we may borrow one for use in the library.
We missed the yoga class as it was not stated in the weekly activity schedule.
This hip hotel is very relaxing.
We loved the paper umbella and bamboo-weaved bag provided. It goes well with the entire countryside feeling for use within the hotel area.
We enjoyed the hotel facilities and services. Staff are cheerful & helpful.
The airport transfer looked expensive but worth the price. We were provided with a luxury mini-van which may comfortably accommodate a family of 5 or 6.
Though there are areas for improvement, we would still highly recommend this hotel to someone who need refreshment for the busy city life. To enjoy all the facilities, a few nights' stay is unavoidable.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't miss the spa treatment. hotel guests get a 50% discount for a la carte menu.

Very beautiful architecture and design of the campound, garden and hotel features.
Very very nice employees and management people.
For those who are looking for shopping and busy night life, this hotel is likely too far from city.
Wifi signal not strong enough (likely depending of room location) for those who need high speed
What a beautiful play to enjoy the city of Chiang Mai without the noise, the crowd, the heat. We stayed there one week, enjoying nature surroundings, exceptional sightseeing, the room size and terrace, the kindness of people. Having a baby child helps a lot indeed to test a the quality of services and staff of a hotel. In that case, we have been impressed by the kindness of all people working in Veranda Chiang Mai - The High Resort. What a original concept : this hotel have all features of a luxury hotel ... but you feel like you were home. The baby club is also very convenient. Hope we go back there !

the design, the architecture, are fabulous, extraordinary. the rooms are huge (!40m2) with a magnificent view. The value for money is unbelievable.
The resort is relatively far from the city (20km) so you have to rent a car. But Chiang Mai is crowdy and with your car you can easily escape and visit the surroundings of Chiang Mai (very beautiful).
Fabulous architecture, spacious rooms, nice environment. We rent a rice-terrace pavilion and the value for money is excellent. In other resorts in Asia you may pay three times the price.

Power supply seems to be a bit unstable in the area, but the problem is usually solved promptly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Oasis Spa at Chiang Mai is excellent, in particular the Four Hand Massage.

I would not recommend and go back to this hotel. The hotel itself is gorgeous but it is like a Mercedez-Benz with a bad driver. Dirty, not good food, room service only at 10.30 pm and it is quite far to go out at night, not so well trained staffs, and the list goes on.

Location away from the noise of the town
Luxurious facilities in our room (jacuzzi on balcony)
Infinity pool with the fantastic view of the surrounding mountains
We were bowled over at first sight by the beauty of the hotel and continued to be thrilled by our luxurious room that had a jacuzzi on the balcony, overlooking a small paddy field. The bed was enormous as was the room which had his and her closets. The entire hotel makes relaxation irresistible and we had one of our best holidays ever just taking our time to do hardly anything. The spa had many choices which made it hard for us to choose given our limited stay. Eating at the restaurant with the small paddy field around it was a lovely change as we were serenaded by frogs and insects. We will definitely visit again!
Hotel Feature Tip : The perfect place to be if you are looking for a respite from the bustle and noise of the town.

Very nice service and great food, delicious wine.
Not suitable for the elderly. Because the restaurant walking distance.
Room was nice and clean, organized atmosphere very romantic. Ideal for couples. But cable programming is a little less good breakfast variety. And quality is available. Restaurant very nice view, but not suitable for the elderly associated pay.Aa walking distance from the room service staff very well. But people do not care to clean thoroughly. Order food from room to eat lunch. Another cold day tomorrow not next room to store all the dishes are not be missed. But otherwise is OK นะ.
Hotel Feature Tip : Live in this thought will not be driving out to where another นะ. It is ideal for a relaxing atmosphere great food is delicious chart batteries themselves better.
