Friendly staff and the place had great facilities (including computers in the foyer and a tour guide/information person).
I left tips out for the cleaners but they didn't take it! I was surprised but made my belongings feel extra safe haha.
Only real complaint (as others have mentioned) was the slow and unreliable internet in the rooms, but this wasn't a major issue for me really. The bed was harder than the bed's on the train too though lol. Other than that everything was great and I would stay here again

Wangburapa is fine just not a very interesting place to stay. I think it was probably good about 5 yes ago and needs a bit of updating now. Open the restaurant or bar downstairs and it may also give it some MRE character. I was happy to stay here at the price I paid on agoda but don't think is worth its full tariff.

A nice stay. It was very hot and the excellent air con was heaven. It is close to many cafes and bars and a short walk to temples. The beds are comfortable and rooms cleaned daily. Short trip to airport. I would stay here again.

Comfortable bed and good room space
The great location by the river and all markets

Fantastic. At our arrival we were happy surprised about the hotel location by the town river and just minutes away to all the weeks markets. Restaurants followed along the river street. A walk in the old town visiting its many temples and to touch the brick fortress along the river brought us back to the Kingdom of Lanna - year 1200.

We stayed here for 5 nights whilst in Chiang Mai. The room was big and clean, with a large bathroom. Room had a small table and chairs, desk, wardrobe, shoe rack, TV, fridge with a free bottle of water provided every day for each guest. Interest was a little temperamental, but worked well most of the time. The pool was basic, but for the price you pay , it was good, a few sun loungers and a jacuzzi area. The location was fantastic, on the main stretch of road leading to the street market. The road is about a 10 minute walk and full of bar/restaurants and travel agencies for you to book your day trips.
