Great personal attention--they even remember my breakfast preferences

After 8 visits in 3 years, it get better every time Nice tranquil boutique hotel though only 5 minutes from the bustling Night Market. Great personal service--tracked me down to the pool-side with an overseas business call. Remembered me by name the 2nd time I stayed. Very friendly yet courteous. Rooms are in excellent condition and clean. Grounds of hotel are spotless. Good wifi and standalone computers available. free transfer from and to airport.

Shopping Tip : 5 mins from the excellent Night Market.

Professional & friendly staff. Beautifully maintained village hotel. Convenient central location.

Our stay was stunning - a hotel that is well laid out with an exceptionally high level of maintenance of facilities & services. The ambiance at Yaang Come Village is truly lovely - quiet & peaceful & our time spent there was capped off by the attention received from the wonderful team of staff. Perfect!!

Nightlife Tip : Just around the corner from the Night Markets which meant we could visit several evenings for a while, as well as fitting in another night time fixture.

intimate size, personal and courteous service, air of peace and quiet, walking distance from most sights, such as the Night Market, the walled city etc

The Yaang Come Village Hotel is an exceptionally well-managed hotel, whose staff all go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible. The deluxe room is beautifully appointed, with fine furnishings and decor and a lovely bathroom. Because of the small number of rooms in the hotel, one gets a very personal service which feels very special, and definitely contributes to the holiday. As long as they are not still there when you go to Chiang Mai, you can't help but have a great time.

Travel tip : The overnight train trip from Bangkok to Chiang Mai has to be done - just check your travel insurance for hazardous sports before you embark!!!

Everything!

Presence of mosquitoes in the evening.

This is one hotel we will certainly go back to if we return to Chang Mai. Staff were all superb and very attention to the guests needs. The surroundings are so beautiful and well kept. Our room was extremely big and beautifully laid out. I would rate this hotel a 6 star because the staff made our stay a very memorable one.

Restaurant Tip : The very long night market is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Our dinner at The Gallery Restaurant by the river was a beautiful meal. We tried the northern "Kantoke" dish and we were very pleased.

Beauty in the City, Great staff.

Expensive on beverage, mosqitoes were bad.

This was a great location to go to the night market. The service was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was good but could have a few more choices. There were many bees around the food. Very clean and comfortable

Travel tip : Do the flight of the Gibbons when you are there, we had so much fun!!

Open air reception area and fabulous garden

Just wished we could have stayed here longer. Loved the decor and magical setting. Couldn't believe our eyes as we drove in the entrance and saw the red and gold painted open air reception with graceful Lanna architecture. The gardens were superb. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. A short walk to the night market and close to the town center too.

Good points 1. New facilitates and a clean room 2. Excellent location (near Night Bazaar) 2. Hotel staff's smile and pinpoint precision of services (especially for honeymooner) A kind hotel staff took the appropriate responses when other staff made a mistake. Thanks to her, we could go to Night Safari. We appreciate her kindness and behavior.

Negative point One male staff made a mistake (departure time of Bus). However kind female staff took the appropriate responses.

As a result, I recommend the Yaang Come Village Hotel Chiang Mai. For the price, it is an excellent balance of value for money and functionality. This hotel is good for couples and honeymooners.

walking distance to river and to night market. Comfortable room, nice breakfast, excellent staff.

We arrived late and we didn't like the location of our room for first night. We moved and were happier.

Comfortable nicely appointed room. The location was good-we could walk 1 block or so to the night market and 2 blocks to the river. Great dinner place next door and lots of massage places on the street. The breakfast was quite good as is the pool and chaises. The staff was quite helpful.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We really enjoyed the temples and the factory stores outside of town. (silk making factory, umbrella factory, lacquer products factory etc)

CLose to night bazaar but still quite and away from it all.

Nothing really to complain about - it would be nice to have bigger private balcony. Also would be nice following another hotel in Chiang Mai to offer the breakfast where and when you require it

Yaang Come Village is like a second home, the staff are very welcoming and attentive of your needs without being over bearing. They all rememberd my name, it it was a nice touch to have a welcome back card in the room as it was my second stay.\nStaff we vary able and willing to give suggestions of things to do around Chiang Mai if required - although I did not need this service as I have visited many times before. \nFood was satisfactory though another hotel I stayed in offers your breakfast to be served at anytime of the day and to take it where ever you would like it which is a nice touch and usful after a night partying!\nThe nearby spa offered a discount for people staying at Yaang Come Village previously but are still expensive compared to many places aroun town.\nYaaang Come is very cose to the night bazaar and bars but still gives a feeling of solitude.\nThe rooms a big and well laid out and all feel well cared for. The swimming is a nice area to relax in after a days sightseeing.\nIt would be nice to have sofas as an addition in the rooms.\n

As mentioned the highlight of this hotel was its serenity and the service by the always smiling and helpful staff. They took a real interest in us and were always warm and friendly. Pasawee in particular always had a smile and a kind word for us. The wonderful old Yaang tree in the grounds added to the relaxed feeling and the gardens were impeccable. Breakfast was delicious and changed a little each day. The location near the night bazaar just a five minute walk could not have been better and you were a short tuk-tuk ride away from the Old City and Sunday Night Walking Street. The free 24 hour internet is a bonus too.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure you take the opportunity to visit the Elephant Nature Park a rehabilitation centre for abused elephants. It is not for people who want to watch elephant shows or ride elephants but if you want to feed them, swim with them and bath them it is an incredible expereince. The website is elephantnaturepark.org and the hotel will organise the day or overnight trip for you if you get on the site as the office is nearby even though they do not advertise the place at the hotel. Use the complimentary internet at the hotel to access the site.

Great location, near night market and always plenty of transport around. Internet connections seemed slower than last year but were OK and it's free by the pool and in reception.

Very friendly staff Quiet and peaceful Great location

The tour we booked from the hotel tour desk was overpriced and the guide didn't speak English as promised.

A smallish, really lovely hotel with good sized pool area. The setting under the big beautiful tree for breakfast was great. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and well fitted out. Good lobby area with internet access.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Book your tour from a shop in the street - better value than hotel tour desk

Lots of great full day and half-day excursions. You can save some money if you book from outside the hotel.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Beware of the friendly drivers who want to take you on extra tours at no extra charge - you'll wind up at lots of place you don't want to see, as the drivers get kickbacks from various shops and centers.
