We appreciated the friendliness, efficiency and courtesy of hotel staff. Service is their keynote. Our requests ranging from arranging transportation, assisting with shipment of merchandise to facilitating use of our computer in our room were met with immediate attention and courtesy. The grounds of this beautiful hotel are maintained in first class condition. The general manager met us several times asking if all was well and attended to several needs we had that we had not otherwise raised with staff.
The television sets in the hotel, at least in our room, was antiquated. The sound system was somewhat lacking. I would suggest more western tv offerings such as ESPN and HBO.
The hotel staff of Yaan Come Village is well trained. The efficiency, attention to detail, courtesy and friendliness of hotel staff is immediately obvious upon our arrival and continued throughout our stay. There was no request that was not immediately met with a smile and quick response. The hotel premises were maintained in first class condition. Our room was clean and linens were replaced constantly without requesst.
Shopping Tip : We traveled as a couple, primarily for business purposes. The location of the hotel was perfectly situated for our business needs for our jewelry store.

Beautifully presented hotel, nice pool, excellent room and the most comfortable bed we found during our travels around Thailand.
Strangely, we felt staff were almost too 'full of smiles' and tried a bit too hard. I know this is an odd criticism but it made us feel slightly intimidated - but perhaps that had more to do with us! For example, we felt we had to 'sneak' in our laundry as we hadnt used the expensive hotel laundry service.
We had a very good 3 days/nights at Yaang Come Village. The hotel grounds had to be sprayed for mossies whilst we were there, which was a good thing; inevitable in Chiang Mai heat and the fact that the grounds of the hotel are lush and beautifully green. It is an oasis in the busy town and perfectly placed for the Night Market. We only ate breakfast and had one club sandwich during an afternoon which was excellent. The bed was incredible, we began to think it must have some magical sleep quality as it was soooo comfortable, and the black out curtains ensured we didnt wake until we were ready.
Shopping Tip : Very well placed for exploring the Night Markets

Fantastic location. Great, kind and helpful staff.
Set in a fantastic location opposite the night markets we would thoroughly recommend the Yaang Come Village. The staff are polite, helpful and very friendly. The rooms are great and the hotel has an exclusive feel about it. A 5* section of village life within a busy, dusty city.

Friendly, helpful staff, lovely buildings, good food, delightful swimming pool, fine location
One of three free internet computers out of order throughout our stay.
As we luxuriated in the swimming pool one morning we were joined by a couple of new arrivals. The lady commented "This is paradise!", and we certainly had to agree. Those words summarise our experience. This hotel is completely different from the nearby concrete monoliths - the buildings alone merit architectural comment. Everything is laid out in such beautiful gardens it is almost impossible to believe you are so close to the centre of the city. If we ever go back to Chiang Mai I would certainly stay here again.
Restaurant Tip : Food at this hotel is well worth staying in for.

Fantastic staff, quiet leafy surroundings, beautiful pool and lovely room.
The Yaang Come Village Hotel in Chiang Mai is a little piece of heaven on earth. After a long flight it was so refreshing to be asked to sit down in the beautiful lobby to check-in and given lemon grass juice to quench our thirst. The staff went out of their way each day to be helpful and see to all our needs and the room was wonderful-large, cool, well appointed and quiet. The pool is spectacular and most times we were the only ones in it. The gardens were also beautiful and we enjoyed dining in the poolside restaurant. The location is terrific-so close to the night market and a quiet little oasis in the hustle of Chiang Mai. We loved it so much we will be back next year.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The night market is 2 minutes walk from the front gate and has lots of great shopping and eating experiences.

Beautiful grounds, very friendly staff
Great hotel, oasis in the heart of chaing mai with very friendly and helpful staff. Location is also very good, around the corner from the night market and also near the river. Beautiful open lobby, great restaurant with good, clean food. Hotel also provides free internet access in the open air lobby. Room was also very nice and clean, traditional thai style.
Shopping Tip : Night market around the corner!

Beautiful, Thai-style hotel in a great location. A friendly and quiet oasis situated near the night bazaar. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, we were astonished by the great service even compared to already high Thai-stardards. The rooms are spaciuos and elegantly decorated. Pool area is also nice. Breakfast is adequate, if nothing special.

A small boutique Hotel, fantastic staff who really could not do enough to assist us.The room was ok but not brilliant. There is a small pool set amongst lush vegetation and a nice bar/restaurant.The location is excellent, very close to market areas ( 5 mins walk) and lots of bars and restaurants nearby.I would certainly be very happy to stay here again - excellent value.

Professional & friendly staff.
Beautifully maintained village hotel.
Convenient central location.
Our stay was stunning - a hotel that is well laid out with an exceptionally high level of maintenance of facilities & services. The ambiance at Yaang Come Village is truly lovely - quiet & peaceful & our time spent there was capped off by the attention received from the wonderful team of staff. Perfect!!
Nightlife Tip : Just around the corner from the Night Markets which meant we could visit several evenings for a while, as well as fitting in another night time fixture.

intimate size, personal and courteous service, air of peace and quiet, walking distance from most sights, such as the Night Market, the walled city etc
The Yaang Come Village Hotel is an exceptionally well-managed hotel, whose staff all go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible. The deluxe room is beautifully appointed, with fine furnishings and decor and a lovely bathroom. Because of the small number of rooms in the hotel, one gets a very personal service which feels very special, and definitely contributes to the holiday. As long as they are not still there when you go to Chiang Mai, you can't help but have a great time.
Travel tip : The overnight train trip from Bangkok to Chiang Mai has to be done - just check your travel insurance for hazardous sports before you embark!!!

Presence of mosquitoes in the evening.
This is one hotel we will certainly go back to if
we return to Chang Mai. Staff were all superb and
very attention to the guests needs. The surroundings
are so beautiful and well kept. Our room was
extremely big and beautifully laid out. I would rate
this hotel a 6 star because the staff made our stay
a very memorable one.
Restaurant Tip : The very long night market is just a 5 minute walk
from the hotel.
Our dinner at The Gallery Restaurant by the river
was a beautiful meal. We tried the northern
"Kantoke" dish and we were very pleased.

Beauty in the City, Great staff.
Expensive on beverage, mosqitoes were bad.
This was a great location to go to the night market. The service was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was good but could have a few more choices. There were many bees around the food. Very clean and comfortable

Open air reception area and fabulous garden
Just wished we could have stayed here longer. Loved the decor and magical setting. Couldn't believe our eyes as we drove in the entrance and saw the red and gold painted open air reception with graceful Lanna architecture. The gardens were superb. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. A short walk to the night market and close to the town center too.
