The hotel is in a nice location of Chiangmai. The design has a nice tropical/jungle feel to it if you like that type. Personally, I'm not too keen because I had to fight mosquitos every night.

Amazing find in perfect area

We loved this place and will return. It is is the styley Ninneinhaemin area which is so much nicer than the tourist areas. There is great coffee, excellent restaurants and funky shopping. It is also a short ride to the old city.
The hotel was a haven from the heat and the staff were so helpful. The only down was the breakfast which was not great but sufficed.

I really enjoyed staying here and the staff are super friendly and accomodating. I recommend staying at this hotel. There were many families staying here while I was here and it has a very close knit feel to the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we have stayed here quite a few times and are always impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. It is in a great location and a great little breakfast restaurant right across the street.

Not as amazing as our stay two years ago

We stayed in Yantarasri two years ago and found it great value at that time. In the past two years’ time starts to slowly take its sign (bathrooms for an example) and staff performance is not as outstanding as it used to be. We also had an incident at check in where the lady was not going to give us a double bed despite having booked a room with one and then she claimed it's because we didn't mention it in the 'Special Requests' text box of our booking. After we argued she then upgraded us to a room with a double bed. We felt it was a bit ridiculous after having discovered that besides us there only seemed to be two other rooms taken in the whole resort.
For our next stay, we would probably try one of the new hotels in this area (Nimmanhaeden Road, great neighbourhood despite being a bit out of town).
Our advice would also be to skip the breakfast and go next door to the lovely ‘Bake and Bite’ Café (just opposite the hotel entrance). They have a massive range and it is better value than the hotel breakfast.
