I liked the location, the hotel was fine for me just needed to sleep in,I was on a budget and I wasn't disappointed at all. The staff were friendly and the rooms were okay but could be cleaner. I have nothing to complain about.

Great location and very helpful staff

The hotel is very close to the bus station, which is what I needed since I was arriving on a late bus then departing on an early bus the next morning. Also the hotel is near the night market which was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the wifi was good. The room could use remodeling but was clean and adequate for my needs. Overall, a very good value for the money.

Clean & Cheap

This is a no-frills super cheap experience, if you don't want to stay in a typical hostel but are looking for something in a similar budget this is a great option. Cons are that there's no elevator, so if you're higher up you're going to be lugging your stuff up the stairs. My room had an airconditioner that was barely adequate at reducing the temperature but was still effective. Noise may be an issue as the windows are thin and you are right next to the Night Bazaar/Market where they regularly have live music. In fact standing on my balcony i could overlook the night market, so you are extremely close. This is as IN Town as you can get. Surprisingly the internet was great here, actually it was the fastest wi-fi I've had in Thailand in 3 years. For the price and location this is a pretty great deal, if you are use to something more upscale you may want to look around a bit more.

Great Location, good rooms

Hotel is right in the centre of the town, and just round the corner from the scooter rental and tour guide places.
It seems to be on the tourist stretch which i thought was the nicest bit, it has nice resturants and cafes - most of chiang rai as a town is not that great (its not like chiang mai), i stayed there to get myself on a scooter and get out into the countryside and surrounding sites - for which this hotel is a great base. The hotel is also right next to the night bazaar, which is nice to go and visit after a day sightseeing, although it you can hear the music from the bazaar up till midnight.
The hotel and rooms are basic, but you can easily get food and anything else you need metres away. Perfect base.
the staff are also really nice and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Pu Chi Fa!!! Awesome - you can scooter it 120km across the country, its an awesome ride across some beautiful country, bit hard on your backside but really nice. Otherwise get a bus.

some rooms overlook the night bazaar. no lift. clean nad basic rooms with tv and air in a great location. 20 minutes walk from the city bus station and 5 minutes to the night bazaar. located on the main shopping street.

Nice guesthouse, good location

I stayed here 3 nights. The first morning i woke up from the sound of dripping water from the aircon.
They gave me an other room which I think was more expensive than what I payed for. Very good.
The location was perfect: just around the corner from the nightmarket. The noise was not a problem. It stopped around 11.30 or so.
Very friendly staff. Will definitely go back. Free Wifi in the room.

This is another of those 'you get what you pay for' places. The staff was very nice, cherish and helpful. The location of the hotel is pretty much dead center city. The lovely Night Bazaar was just one - two Soi's away. I'm pretty sure there wasn't any restaurant or breakfast at the hotel but there is a selection of them on the street outside and surrounding streets

Big room but noizy

I stayed 5 nights totally this time. Staff is friendly but sometimes they are not on desk and my friend told me nobody on phone when asking their location. Room is noizy and not dark because of light from out of window even night time. Room is clean and location is quite good near to bus station and night market.

The condition of the rooms could improve a little but it is a guest house after all. The price of the rooms could improve as well.
The location and the staff is great. There are plenty of eateries around and the guesthouse is near to the bus station and night bazaar.
