This is budget accommodation. It was clean but it's old and rundown with scuffed up walls and old bedding. My shower has hot for half the time. If you're on a strict budget, you'll be fine. If not there are probably better places.

Friendly receptionists and value for money rooms
The receptionists made us feel at home

after coming back from chiang rai, we checked in city home guest house again.this time around,there was no room for us though we had reserved two rooms. we were tired after travelling here and there with our bags. to make up for their mistake, they gave us d most expensive rooms they had n helped to carry all our bags.when one of my friends complained, she was actually being naughty but d receptionists really showed that they prioritise their facebook guests. thumbs up for city home!

very strategic location. food and the night market is just a stone's throw away.

it was a pleasant stay here. the receptionist helped us with going about the places. as we were backpackers,we didn't have a guide with us to lead the way. they offered valuable information on getting the right mode of transport.one weakness of this hotel is its water heater that was installed way too high up. my friends who were of average height can't reach it at all! and though it was within my reach, the temperature didn't seem to be able to be adjusted! we had a steaming hot bath in the end!

We have stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are friendly. Location is great, close by to nightly markets including food. Has everything you need and would stay again.

A simple guest house just next to the small but busy night market. Easy to get clothes and souvenir with good price.
There is a nice open-air restaurant in the night market area. Nice food with the stage performance, i.e. live band, local dance show, etc. Enjoy the show while having dinner.
Recommend for short stay.

Near to bus terminal, only 5 mins walk.
Just right next to Night Bazaar, only 1 min walk.
Morning market and the famous clock tower is also within walking distance, about 10 mins walk.
Room is clean and nice but lack of basic amenities like shower gel and shampoo.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
10 mins walk to the famous light and music clock tower.
1 min walk to the Night Bazaar.

this hostel was right in the heart of chiang rai, the rooms were reasonably priced and there were dorm beds for anyone on tighter budget. the beds were definitely the most comfortable that i've slept in in thailand. right near the night bazaar, bus station, shopping, great bars, etc. the staff was super helpful, let us store our things, check in super early (6am) and even let us come back an use the showers a day after we checked out.
