.The size of the bed is enormous
.Pool area is relaxing
.Great location
.Chair to sit on outside your room to admire the beautiful garden.
The hotel is fantastic. It is peaceful and in a great location. Eat at the restaurant across the road to the right, it is as cheap as chips. The bed is not only enormous but incredibly comfortable. I loved this hotel and can not fault it. It is amazing value for money. You felt as though you were the only person in the entire complex.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can hire a scooter from up the road for 150 bht a day and go where-ever you like. We took a tour to the golden triangle for the day (dont book through the hotel way to expensive, go down to the main street, near the night bizarre).

Wonderful service, nice people, reliable free Wi-Fi in the lobby, beautiful garden
Dark rooms with noisy aircon
I wanted to like this place, but the rooms are just not cozy. They have big picture windows that look out into the walkway, so the only light you get comes with the stares of people walking by. There are mosquitoes but no screens, so you have to close the windows when it gets dark. And the aircon is so noisy, I had trouble sleeping.
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant here is lovely, with the cutest Koi I've ever seen. The food was pretty good.

Great room and the pool area and grounds are fantastic - very well kept. Recommended by some friends from Chianr Rai and we will also recommend it. Excellent value.
Needs to have some information in the room about nearby attractions such as the golf course.
We have stayed in a number of resort-style hotels in other areas of Asia, including Thailand, and the Laluna met our expectations and proved to be an excellent recommendation. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but the main thing was the actual surroundings and the overall atmosphere that has been created. It is very peaceful and relaxing and that is just what we were seeking after being on the road for 2 weeks.

Clean room. Nice swimming pool. Good breakfast
Resort not close to the night bazar. It was difficult to rent a motorbike in the surroundings. Transfer offered by the hotel was not cheap.
It is a nice place to stay but can be improved. You have to pay extra for most of services

cosy, nice pool, friendly staff
restaurant food not great, rooms a little dark
Laluna is a friendly resort, we were very comfortable as a family. We rented two superior rooms near the pool. The rooms were a little dark, but had everything we needed. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is good, dinner not recommended (Thai food was not great)

Dated rooms, noisy walkway outside of room made it impossible to sleep in
We stayed at Laluna for 1 night after finding that we couldn't sleep in due to the noise of the noisy walkway directly outside the door. Also, the hotel was nothing spectacular. Breakfast was nothing I can even remember. It is also not at all within walking distance of the main shopping/eating area. Interior was dated. Bathroom was just OK. The shower water pressure was descent. The best thing about the hotel is the grounds. They were beautiful. There was also a very nice pool area. However, this is probably 1 of the best resorts around near the city center from what I could tell, especially for the price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a short tuk tuk ride about 5 blocks down to the bazzar.

Clean spacious bungalow.Nice swimmingpool (hotel had towels available), good breakfast. Friendly staff.
We (family with two older children) did stay in this hotel in July 2009. We did book two superior bungalows, which were just opposite the swimmingpool. As far as we did see most of the bungalows were situeted in a nice garden . Not all of them did have the view on the pool. Rooms/bathrooms were clean. Nice breakfast with western and asian food. Hotel is a bit in the outskirts, but with a tuk tuk you will be into town in 5 minutes (or a walk of 15 min.)
We did have a foormassage in our room which was really nice after a flight out of Europe.

Highly recommanded to people travelling to Chiang Rai.
There is no public transportation to city center.
If I have chance to come back to Chiang Rai again, this is definetely the priority choice to me. Breakfast is nice and delicious. Staffs are also very helpful and ready to serve. Garden is so well-organised and maintained. Swimming pool is also good. There is no public transportation to city center.Highly recommanded to people travelling to Chiang Rai.
Wireless internet only can be connected at lobby which is a pity.
Travel tip : food store in front of hotel gate is very taste and local.

Lovely room by the clean pool, the grounds were well kept and overall the place was very quiet. Breakfast pretty good too. I thought the staff were lovely and very attentive.
A little bit out of town although just a short, cheap taxi ride. There were also not many beds by the pool...although when we went in July it was almost empty so we had it to ourselves. We booked an etra night here as we enjoyed it so much and it was a great location to get acclimatised after our flights in from London.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to the 'Walking Street' market. Can't remember whether it's every night or every Saturday/Friday night but it was lovely Great atmosphere. No hassling and good street food. And some rather weird dancing!

Lovely garden, good restaurant just outside the front of the hotel
Quite a long walk to get downtown. Basic but OK rooms.
The hotel has a lovely garden and pool. The rooms are fairly basic but are clean. Staff do not speak a lot of English, but tried hard to be helpful. The hotel is a long walk from downtown, so get a tuk tuk or a taxi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit Wat Phra Keo

Large room, clean, comfortable bed
Good location near the night bazaar, staff were friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was adequate, and in a nice setting.
View from the rooms was not that great due to the hotel design, but you get what you pay for. Overall, a good choice of accommodation in Chiang Mai when travelling on a budget.

Great Pool, and great food!
Bugs in the bathroom (But not a big deal)
Restaurant Tip : The best place to get western food is Da Vinci! Great food and a nice walk to and from the city center.
