rooms were very large, bed was kingsize, wooden floors nicely polished, windows could slide open, bathroom had walk-in shower. gardens are beautifull. Swimmingpool is big and nicely shaped.

There is no hotel shuttle to the town

The hotel is situated within walking distance (15 min) of the town's night bazaar however the way towards it is very uniteresting. We usually walked to town and took a tuktuk back. We had a room at the swimmingpool. The room gave a very luxury impression ; the wooden floor was polished to a shine, there was a walk-in cupboard, the bed was kingsize and the seemingly new bathroom was equipped with an open walk-in shower and lots of amenities. It was the nicest bathroom we have ever seen in a hotel. After 2 weeks trekking around, we very much appreciated a day spent at the pool which is nicely placed between a number of rooms. All rooms are situated within a tropical and well kept garden. This place was really value for money !

Clean room, quiet location.

All area is too dark because it doesn't have enough light. It can't work to the shopping area.

Over all is good hotel and good deal to stay over here.

Good Value! Great peaceful getaway!. Guest Rating: 8.3

Magnificent landscaped gardens. Large Pool area, very clean, staff friendly and professional. Happy hour for guests in the afternoon. 24 hour restaurant, bar onsite.

Only one computer working when I was there, so had to wait to use. Disappointed with the main meal at the restaurant (a speciality dish from the local area). No tea and coffee making facilities room.

I enjoyed my stay at this lovely hotel. Cant rave enough about the beautiful landscaped gardens. If you are looking for a relaxing time outside of the main town, then I would say this is definately the place for you. Takes about 15 mins to walk into town, or the staff can call a local tuk tuk to pick you up. I also booked a day tour at the front desk, Doi Tung Maesai, Golden Triangle with a good tour guide and they can arrange many different options to suit. Breakfast buffet was adequate. Strict rules about not having snacks/food in the rooms, if you want to buy your own tea/coffee across the road at the local shop the hotel will provide hot water thermos and cup!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Golf course about ten minute walk from the front of the hotel, turn right, head towards the "old airforce landing strip".

Great lobby, quiet bungalows, incredibly beautiful swimming pool. Great buffet breakfast.

Rooms could be a little less dark. Cocktails prices at the restaurants are much too high.

The la Luna hotel is a little peaceful paradise at 10-15mn walking distance from the center of Chiang Mai and the night market. The large king size beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms very convenient. swimming pool amenities are just great except the jacuzzi section that seems never been finished.

Not a lot.

Restaurant staff.

Check-in quick and polite, room basic but very clean, large bed, good size bathroom, plenty hot water..ok for overnight stop..bungalow type rooms, nice garden setting. Asked for room away from pool, or suffer a lot of noise, breakfast basic but enough to start your day, girls in breakfast room stood in corner and chatted, the guests were ignored, a few complaints from guests, i would stay again but only if nothing else was available.

Great gardens, well kept, nice pool area

Rule that no outside food or drinks allowed

Good, clean large room. Nice garden setting. It is a good 20 minutes walk into town but that didn't worry us. Breakfast was sufficient. Great value for the price. Had a rule that no outside food or drinks allowed - but was easy to bring beers etc in in a back pack. Pool area looked good but we didn't get a chance to use it during out stay - too busy touring.

Very helpful and friendly staff.

None that we found in the short time we were there.

We arrived quite late at the hotel and needed to leave early the next morning for Chiang Kong. The staff were very helpful in finding us transportation, arranging a boxed breakfast and even delivering us a coffee in the lobby as we waited a few minutes for the car to arrive. Although we were not there long at all, we were very impressed with the staff and our quick tour of the grounds showed that they were lovely. The room was quiet and clean. Please note, however, that this review is based on an 8 hour stay, most of which was sleeping!!

Big beds, clean rooms.

The hotel receptionist was a bit vigilant in offering me and my two male friends 'massage ladies'. We declined the first time but he kept persisting. Also, the service in the restaurant was not so good. They forgot our order etc.

Good middle of the road resort. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and its walking distance from town centre. The service in the hotel was average (across different types of staff) so not worth its four star rating.

N/A

This is one great hotel. The rooms are great as is the pool and dining facilities. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The resort is a short (15 minute) walk from the town centre, but there are plenty of tuk tuks available. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed another two days there we liked it so much.
