Spacious room, lovely pool, nice restaurant, pristine view and experience and very professional staff Great experience in a luxurious yet very affordable hotel. The hotel is very clean and portrays a contemporary living in a suburb area. The room is very nice, quite spacious and at the pool area. Staff are very friendly, attentive and responsive to our needs. While the location is far from the night market, it has a scheduled mini bus service and is just in front of the Big C Supermarket.
Overall, I am impressed and I would say that it was really an excellent/superb stay at the hotel. I highly recommend it and will surely stay at this hotel in my next visit to Chiang Rai.

Breakfast nice, Cleanliness very good, Internet working at a reasonable price Good value for money, nice 2 year old place, nice breakfast and friendly service people, location right on route number 1, Internet working not fast but reasonable at the price paid, room very clean, quiet place with a nice pool, not too expensive for a 4 star place, we liked it there and will definitely go back.
Travel tip : Definitely a 4 star place with nice people and good breakfast.

nice and new and modern. lovely bathroom.good breakfast. A little far from the town but the hotel did do a shuttle. and taxis are cheap. When we arrived at the hotel the staff were very pleasant. Our room was satisfactory. Lovely and new it seemed and modern decor. The bathroom was nice with a sunken bath. We had an outside table and chairs which was right by the pool area. We only stayed here for one night so can't comment too much but it was a pleasant enough room but may be overpriced.

Conditions, Decoration, Food and Staff. This is the first night we stayed and we like the hotel a lot. The decorative is so beautiful and match. I love the staff they are so kind to us. The room is so boutique and we love this place a lot. Swimming pool is also clear and clean.
Hotel Feature Tip : The feature is differentiate the best is entering.

But transportation service is available (go 19:00 or 19:30 and return 21:30 or 21:00
If we use tuktuk (a small taxi), we should pay 50B-70B.
As a result, I recommend the Mantrini Boutique Resort Chiang Rai.
For the price, it is an excellent balance of value for money and functionality.

Service, style, decor, rooms, newness. Maybe a little far out of town for some. Beautifully maintained hotel in an excellent position opposite the Big C towards the edge of town. The rooms are excellent and well appointed with a sunken bath in the deluxe rooms. The gardens in the centre of the grounds beside the pool are very well kept. This is a little gem of a hotel with a very discrete yet excellent staff. Genuinely one of the nicest newest hotels I have stayed in Thailand.
Hotel Feature Tip : Get a ground floor room so you can sit out in the beautiful garden.

A very beautiful small hotel & very HIP & trendy decor and Breakfast buffet was real nice. Conveniently located on the high way as we were driving to Pai @ Mae Hong Sorn afterward. Staff are nice and courteous. One night was too short for us, but felt so good...will be back.

Comfortable room and helpful staff. Sometimes "trendy" can become obnoxious, but this hotel fell just a bit short. The style of the hotel is quite out of character in Chiang Rai. Perhaps the time of year I visited was 'slow', and the weather during my visit was consistently raining, but the hotel and the downtown area was very quiet. You can't go wrong with this hotel. Just opt for breakfast outside.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a car and head up to the Golden Triangle - just to say you've been there. You can see 4 countries - standing in Thailand, Burma to the west, China to the north, Laos to the east,

modern hotel, staff were very kind, shuttle to the night market was very convenient The Mantrini is a nice, hip hotel in Chiang Rai City. We found it convenient to stay in town and take day trips to the Golden Triangle, Mai Sae and other places. The hotel staff were very accomodating and even took us to the night market during times outside the shuttle shifts. It would have been nice if the rooms had a DVD player and if the hotel had a spa. Room service stopped early, around 10PM which made it difficult to get a meal the first night we arrived. Overall it was a great hotel if you want to stay in the city rather than farther out.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We enjoyed spending time in the Hilltribe Museum in Chiang Rai City, definately worth a visit!
