boutique feel, excellent staff, homey atmosphere. corner suites are beautiful, beautiful views
pool side lounge chairs are very uncomfortable. gardeners can spend all day cutting the lawn around the pool.
The resort was lovely and the owners are kind and share their knowledge of the area. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced especially for room service.
the only downside was that the pool although gorgeous had no comfortable lounge chairs in order to spend the day enjoying the pool. Just from aesthetics also, the entry way could be opened up so you look out onto the beautiful pool and grounds. There is exceptional art throughout the building. I enjoyed this hotel and would be happy to return. The corner suites are worth the extra money. We had an amazing view of the new years fireworks off the balcony!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Free shuttle into the nigh bazaar in the evening. also free DVD's in your room if you want to watch a movie.

Very quiet and relaxing location, good food, superb rooms.
some distance away from anything else - nothing within walking distance so must use hotel's transport services.
Very quiet (around 5 other guests) when we arrived but very tranquil gardens with nice pool bordering a clean river. Rooms were spaciously perfect with free wi-fi, staff were always on hand but not intrusive. Ideal for a quiet stay outside of the main city centre or if you have your own car, but possibly too remote for some.
