Natural environment and the magnificent services. Great food, good massage
Swimming Pool look unclean.
The hotel is located at very natural place with forest environment. Moreover, the services of all functions are so fabulous. They communicate the good information. The massage is very unique and so relaxed. Anyway, the swimming pool is needed to be cleaned because it has some leaf and insect in the pool. I would love to recommend the food from it's restaurant. It is so delicious. I will find sometime to stay there for longer period of time.
Restaurant Tip : Restaurant in the hotel. Good food and services. Somtam Tod is great.

Beautiful grounds and resort. Lush and about 35 acres. Our room was great- big, beautiful teak wood, bright colors, lovely ceramic jars of soap and shampoo...chlorine free sheets and towels, environmetally aware. The curries made at the resturant are amazing!
We had booked hotel transfer from the Chiang Mai train station to the resort- and they were not there to pick us up. We got a private car instead for the same price so no worries. Swimming pool is nice, but was a bit cloudy. Some language barriers, but people very nice.
This is a lovely place to stay- lush, quiet, relaxing. BUT- you need to know it is about 1.5 hours from Chiang Mai and about 1 hour to Chiang Rai. It is on the road winding between the two towns. We loved the seclusion, but were not aware of it when booking. The staff is very nice especially with our 6 year old! A lovely three day stay. Chiang Rai is a great place to visit!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel offers their own tours etc- it was ok...but VIP tours in Chiang Rai- excellent. The owner's name is Jimmy and he was a wealth of information, flexible, great with children, and super wonderful!

Nice surroundings with Nature, lots of green, food good and service good as well.
Starting to show wear and tear and it looks like not too many people were staying there while we were there. A long way from anything to see so need a van to go anywhwere.
My daughter and I went here for a B-day get away. The resort was fine and very green, almost lush. However, it is showing signs of wear and tear. There were not too many guests while we were there and that was OK. The trekkng was suspended due to rainy season, something they did not tell us about till we got there. If you are looking to be "close" to anything, not so. It is 1.5 hours to the Chiang Rai airport and even farther to the Golden Triangle. So if a tour is booked, prepare for a car ride. But the area is beautiful so that helps. All in all , a good stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Long way from anywhere. Check to see tours/transport is available.
