Comfortable and relaxing
nice rooms with space and beautiful outlooks. Good service but felt that not providing free wifi areas lacked good judgement.

good breakfast and service and the pool was lovely. eating at the hotel was a bit pricy as was transport from the hotel but everything was very efficient and friendly. garden areas were beautiful and made the hotel very relaxing and pleasent

Even the cheapest restaurants offer free wifi so use these instead of paying for the hotel one.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff

i enjoyed my stay here. the only thing i was disappointed in was the fact that there was a charge for the wifi and transfers to and from the airport. every other place i have stayed in this was included in the price of the room. other than that it was a lovely stay.

fantastic hotel with great staff

as it was the low season, the hotel was not that busy and we were lucky to be given a courtesy upgrade on arrival to a suite which was nice and it was a lovley suite in a lovely relaxing garden environment. The pool was great just yards from the river and the staff were reakky friendly and helpful. When we had an issue with the in room safe, they sorted it out straight away. The food was great and i really recommend this place.
Restaurant Tip:
the chiang rai night market is great. Not as big as Chiang Mai but still good and great food there and enough stalls to wander around. Having said that, the breakfasts and evening meal we had at the hotel were really good as well

the service was outstanding. i remembered waking up late for breakfast, one of the staff contacted to remind me but i had gone out to run an errand. when i returned, the buffet breakfast counter was closed but she was willing to entertain me by providing me with ala carte breakfast.
wow.
everyone greeted me wherever i went. fantastic. the gm, marc was extraordinary. he interacted me like a friend.

Nice hotel not too far from city center but far enough that you will need transportation. Hotel does have shuttle service and bicycle rentals. Breakfast buffet was small and nothing to write about. Service was great and attention to details like providing insect repellants added nice touch. Rooms were very big that our family of 4 didn't feel cramped. We had superior room which had queen and twin size beds. Overall, nice and affordable and if you like nature, you will love this hotel. We will stay here again in the future.

Lovely, relaxing hotel right by the river. The rooms are like bungalows and you have plenty of room inside and out to relax. Fantastic pool! Watch for the extras- we had to pay for wifi and transfers to and from the hotel. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the town centre.
Restaurant Tip:
Only 10 minutes walk away is a main road with lots of restaurants and street eats.

The Legend is a beautiful hotel set in an amazing garden. The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good with a large range of choice. The hotel is clean and well looked after, it is close enough to the centre of town to walk but secluded enough to be quiet.
