Being slightly out of the way can sometimes be an incentive to explore areas you hadn't thought of before.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : it is well worth taking a car and driver to view Doi Tung, Mae Sai, Golden Triangle and Chiang Saen. Great day out with plenty to see.

Great for a short getaway or as a base from which to explore northern Thailand. Would definitely stay again.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a motorbike or a car and explore one of the many beautiful waterfalls of the area. Take a picnic and sit in cool pools of water and snack and snooze like the Thais
