Very nice hotel, bathroom needs upgrade

Very nice stay, nice maintained hotel commun areas,comfortable room, very good location. An upgrade to the bathroom would give the hotel one more star. I highly recommend this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
In one day we visited in a comfortable new van with a very knowledgeable guide: The Golden Triangle, Chiang Rai, the Long- Necked Karen village, boat trip in the great Mae Khong River along Thailand-Laos border,Chiang Sean, Mae Sai (the northtest point of Thailand), it was so interesting! It was US$80/day for 2 people. I highly recommend this private tour by JERMSAK:

Well located, old but clean

If you're expecting 4 star relatively modern, this is not the hotel for you. Old, very old, but clean and very over priced.
Thin walls as you can hear bathroom noises from next room. Overly soft single beds and poor lighting.
Getting a car and driver from Front Doorman 1/2 day was 2,500 baht. Whole day car with driver can be found for 1,500 baht. Asked front desk to help us find Ceramic Factory, reply was to go to your room, dial 9 and the number. Hotel safe wouldn't open after the second day. Had to have mgmt come and open. On a positive note, service and food at the breakfast buffet was excellent. Live music, piano, in the evening a plus.
Restaurant Tip:
When in Chiang Rai, be sure to order the Phla Bu, deep fried with sauce. But make sure the fish is alive so the freshness will come through. Priced at $8 USD compared to $50 USD at any hotel restaurant in Bangkok.

very clean hotel, although difficult to find from main highway (118). staff polite and courteous. hotel amenities excellent although not too sure about the karoake bar. hotel beds a little on the hard side but nonetheless comfortable. facilities for children sparse, but an excellent swimming pool.
Shopping Tip:
A visit to the Night Market is well worth the effort. And only 60 km from Mae Sai and Tachilak market.

Fouth time in Wiang Inn because it's the best hotel close to night bazar, close to temples and museum .

The pick up service from airport was very efficient. All staff very friendly & helpful on arrival. Included breakfast was delicious. Very close to night market & bus station & other points of interest within the town. The room was very clean & comfortable & made for a relaxing & enjoyable stay.
