Well my wife and I returned to Charlie s Bungalows for the second time in a week, the first time was a bit of a recky to see if the island would be ok for our family that was just about to arrive from the UK to visit for a day or two, Charlie s was perfect lovely and clean and the island was interesting, so when we all arrived everyone in the party thought the bungalows were great after the first day we all decided to ask if it was possible to stay another night it was that good, so we stayed two nights that tells it all.

A nice clean place to stay

Bungalows like all the reviews say is very clean and smart with all the basic requirements and more,the rooms are plainly decorated and look like new, in the room there is tea and coffee making and soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The staff are very helpful and pleasant always saying hello when they see you We arrived a little before check in and waited until 2pm we then got a tuk tuk to take us round the island stopping at the Chinese temple the Kings mansion and a nice little spot by the beach the tour was about 1 hour but we could have stopped for as long as we likes anywhere along the way (Tuk Tuk Bt 250).
The one mistake we made was going to the island on a Wednesday as it appeared that Wednesday was the day that a lot of the places closed and there is not a lot of places (i.e. Pat & Davids restaurant to name just one )

Really pleasant place to stay on Koh SiChaang. Staff were generous with their suggestions for making the visit enriching and enjoyable by pointing places of interest, best restaurants, transportation and similar.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit the location of the summer residence of Rama V, the Thai King of "King and I" fame. See the spot from where Vimanmaaek Mansion was transported to Dusit area of Bangkok.
Good swimming beach on west side of island.

Clean & quiet place with a friendly & helpful boss.
The garden is lovely & the whole place is well maintained.
A good place to spend a few days if you just want to relax.
It's not near the beach ( but almost no hotels are on the island), but is close to most of the small local restaurants(it doesn't have it's own) & the pier is within walking distance.

We stay there at December, almost quiet not many guests, rooms are Small but nice and clean with friendly and welcoming staff.Good enough with a couple without children or a baby. Resort is easy to find and almost near to pier.
