Excellent food
Good room rate Poorly maintained rooms.
No swimming pool as shown in their guide
I was told that the Mercure was the best in Chonburi -- but I was disappointed -- the room rate was excellent and the food and service were also excellent. The rooms are tired ( dated -- and need renovation ) and are not well maintained.
Their hotel guide claims a swimming pool -- it does not exist.
I had a long battle with Front Desk on my check -in. they did not want to accept Agoda voucher and wanted me to pay a second time. Desk staff do not seem to be well trained.
...but generally a decent hotel and good value.

If you want to get away and relax, this hotel is ideal, as there is not much to do around the area.
Nightlife Tip : Have extra money with you as you will have to take taxi to get to have a night out.
