not well kept hotel

We checked in about 9pm, staff watcehd TV and ignore us. we booked the Pool villa room but only can see the pool from the side. inside the room, bed was so hard, towel torn, so many mosqitoes, etc. For breakfast, i hardly ate anything as there were many flies over the food and dog unter the table. we decided to check out 1 day early as we could stand with this hotel with staff performance and many other things.

Great hotel but needs a little improvement

It seems though that only half an effort has been made on the place and with a few touches here and there and some maintenance it could be so much better. The pool was in bad need of a clean, there were tiles missing and lights floating in it, ants in the room and dodgy bathroom fittings, and service was pretty slow. The breakfast was good however there wasn't enough seating - so you have to wait if the hotel is busy. No under-cover parking available so the car will cook!
On the plus side the hotel is in a great spot right on Tung Wua Laen beach and it has all the makings of a great resort. Just needs a little more attention to detail.

The stay was not very good. Swimming pool water was dirty as the pumps were not running also the pool was in a poor condition. The stream that runs through the property was dry and smelly, trash cans leading to the main building were always smelly and full of ants. The water that came out of the taps smelled of drain. Room was modern and quite new. Staff were ok, nothing exceptional. The room was very damp and musty smelling. The bed full of sand mites and in need of spraying... my partner got eaten alive. Breakfast was ok, dinner was terrible. The only good thing was its proximity to the beach and the little beach bar was quite nice.

Around 20km from Chumphon centre is this more or less brandnew garden resort. Just the small road is seperating the resort from the sandy beach. The welcome was very kind but the stuff isnt trained in English. The rooms in the 2floor building are in new conditon and well equiped and hv garden and side ocean view. The food in the Restaurant is tasty. The breakfast buffet is great. The resort is recommend for anybody who likes it quiete and most natural.
