The breakfast was very nice. Many different types of food offered The rooms need redoing. The paint on the wardrobe, walls, bathroom was scuffed up. The T.V. doesn't have many English channels. In face, they only had 3 out of 62 channels. I would recommend this hotel, however, you must keep in mind that it's a 4 star hotel and not a 5 star. It doesn't measure up to other Novotel's here in Thailand.
One of the things that really upset us is that you have to pay for the internet! You have to pay 200baht for one hour of internet. We were really displeased with this.
However, the staff are very nice and the breakfast is very nice.
Also, other Novotel's allow a 5pm checkout on Sunday's but Novotel Hat yai doesn't offer this.

The staffs are friendly but they may have problem understanding you if you use only english.
The room are clean but the time for housekeeping is late. Most of The staffs do not understand english. We had a nice holiday in a hotel that is so convinence for shopping and even food for lunch and dinner. The room are clean with a good offer for set dinner at a resonable price with varity of foods, local and international. The services offer was also good. The checking in and out was smooth.

hotel located in the center. good for shopping and further trip reasearch. no so big rooms bu with bathtube and a lot of hot water. not bad breakfast.
