Novotel Centara Hat Yai Hotel, Hat Yai

Great location - took the coach up from KL. Sation just oppersite hotel. Location in the heart of the city. Room clean but quite dated.

The hotel is very convenince as it is located in heart of Hat Yai shopping area. You can reach Kim-Yong market or Santisuk area by 5 mins walking. Dinner buffet is very good price and you can enjoy various kind of food.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the centre of the shopping and eating vicinity. The only disadvantage is that the entry to the hotel lobby on the sixth floor is by two small lifts. The room is reasonable sized but however, the hotel do not support coffee and tea making facilities which many hotels worldwide normally do.

I've never been there before. I felt free to stay in South of Thailand thogh there is bome news. It was good clean and nice palce to stay. There are several shops to buy souvenirs. Staff are professional with warm welcome. Food is tasty.

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to shopping, restuarants and massages. The hotel offers swimming pool, health club and spa services which incidentally runs quite an attractive promotion for a 3 hour spa treatment for men and women. The downside was uring my stay some renovation work were carried out, the sound of drilling and knocking was quite annoying.

Hotel is on very convenient location, shopping mall centre, train station. Reception, bar, dinner area is very nice. Food is very nice and fare price. It's got live band play every evening. Room service is good. Room is just bit old. Also when I stayed hotel during rebuild I can herd drilling it's very annoy.

If you have too why not but nothing special. Its clean but really dated rooms

Novotel hatyai located in the heart of hatyai city where all the action are happening. As usual we have miss a few things during packing. There are convenient stores such as 7-eleven just cross the road. We have no problem looking for food as well the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shopping complex. Our room is clean and the staff are friendly too. It is the best and most expensive hotel in hatyai i know, thus my experience with the hotel is per my expectation. overall i give it a 7/10

It's centrally located, next to Pizza Hut, Macdonalds, massage parlours, food outlets, local street markets and highways.There is also a good Traditional Thai massage parlour in the shopping centre opposite called Lee Gardens, it's on the seventh floor and it costs about 300 baht per person. The hotel staff are very friendly and polite, make you feel very welcome.

I would like to recommend to choose the other hotels which have lobby at ground floor. It's very inconvenient to take 2 times lift to reach the hotel room. Imagine we are carrying a lot of things after shopping, we still have to walk so far inside the hotel and wait for the lift twice. No doubt Novotel Hotel is a nice hotel, but seems it has been over-rated.

This hotel located in center of Hatyai ,near central department and market,so you can take food and shopping available 24 hrs .But you may be serious to find car parking because it shareing with customer that visited department + guess at hotel. And about water in restroom it so bad taste and smell ,i can not used to clean my teeath,,,,Conclusion this hotel just ok in overall

The hotel is located at the centre of the city and very easy access to all the department stores. Very easy to get food and it is quite safe. The American breakfast is good and customer service staffs are friendly. Although the Novotel hotel rate is the highest, but it was worth paying.

We booked into this hotel on 2 separate nights last week on the way to and from a visa trip to Langkawi. The hotel is in a great location and the staff are very friendly especially the people that take your bags to your room. The first night we stayed in an upgraded room. It was perfect and I could not understand what the complaints on this site were about. It was a lovely big room, clean sheets, clean bathroom, towels, tv etc. everything you need. I had no complaints. We booked a taxi when we booked in to take us to Satun in Langkawi. The hotel said they could not book a taxi but instead would supply the hotel mini bus. The driver was there on time the next morning but charged us 2000baht for a 150 baht journey. Not only there when we arrived at the ferry port he seemed intent on trying to get us to book the ferry through a tourist office there to get himself commission even though the normal ticket office was right next door. Needless to say we were not impressed. On the way back from our visa run we stayed in a normal room at this hotel. We rebooked in whilst in Langkawi as it was nice the first night we stayed there. We booked a normal room as the hotel was nearly fully booked. When we arrived, again the staff were friendly but when we were shown to our room we were dissappointed. The bathroom had not been cleaned - we cleaned it ourselves because it was terrible. The plug on the bath did not work and the water was luke warm. The room was mouldy and smelt really fusty. We actually kept burning matches in order to have a different smell. I was not at all happy. I am not sure if we would stay in this hotel again. I think maybe we would if we could afford the upgraded rooms but for a normal standard priced room avoid this hotel at all costs!

We went to Haatyai for a short trip, 3days 2 nights. Just a short trip to get away from town and relax. Almost everything there was really cheap. Such as Food & beverages. There's a really nice seafood restaurant down the road from the hotel. There's another must go restaurant is located @ the uphill.
