Good resort, not so good location
The private pool is nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bedroom are also nice.
6.7
I like the resort itself but I think the location of the resort is not good. It is not in a walking distance from the beach. So, you'd better drive a car to the resort. The disadvantage is that you might not be able to find a parking space when you go to the beach on weekends or holidays. I drove to the beach and had to drive back without seeing the beach due to this reason. The hotel has suttle bus to send you to a clock tower close to the beach (not to the beach itself) but the shuttle leaves only at noon, 6 PM, and 9 PM. If you want to enjoy the beach, I believe you should go to the beach around 4-5 PM, but you have to leave the resort at noon if you don't drive. That's quite inconvenient. It is also quite difficult to explore night market staying at this resort since the way back from Hua Hin is totally dark.
Restaurant Tip:
You can have food on the beach. There are lots of vendors there. If you buy thier food, you can use the beach chair provided by them at a nice spot, otherwise you have to rent the chair if you would like to use one. The grilled seafood is inexpensive and the taste is not bad.

Better than my last trip
Service, Resort Design , privacy. Shall be the other choice for honeymooner.
7.3
This trip was my second trip at the AKA Resort. I stayed at room 107. I found that the staff and services were better than the past. They are more professional this time since I noticed that the bathroom accessories was better prepare with attention. My girl liked its little bag though. My only complain was the water pressure at the shower head in my room was low. Not a fun shower. However, it was a nice trip again even this was my second time. Recommend for couple.

Great service. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful Delux Pool Viilas
8
We had initially booked the pool villa and were rather disappointed with the standard of upkeep of the villa. fortunately the staff were very accomadating and we were upgraded to a Delux pool villa whihc was a world of difference better. Lovely pvt pool with rgeen hedges all around for privacy. lovely room with 4 polster bed and mosquito nets and great open plan bathrooms. Breafast was lovely with great variety and lots of interesting things. Its rather far from anything and shuttle services to town are infrequenct so a great place if u wanna just chill and go nowhere

Best Hotel ever stayed in
Own pool, tranquility, stunning architecture
9.7
Fabulous hotel - we fell in love with it. We had booked a double room villa with private pool - ended up with a two kingsize villa with pool and sitting area. The architecture is brilliant. Excellent place to chill out. Staff could do no wrong. As stated c£15 for a breakfast is European rather than Thai price. However, we will definitely be going back it was excellent.

Aka deluxe pool villa
Quiet , secluded, good size pool in pool villa, nice room
7
I would definitely stay again even though it is quite a way out of the town. The peace and seclusion of the place was just what I was looking for. The deluxe pool villa layout was great with a decent sized pool you could actually swim in rather than just being a plunge pool. The tv reception was poor but the room had a DVD player. I stayed on a discount price so was pleased with value for money.

Fair
Fair price with swimming pool
3.7
Service was bad in this hotel, too far from everything. I had to ask for everything in the room. Room seems a bit old and not good decorated. I hope they can improve on their service. Maybe that's why they give such discounts.

AKA Hua Hin, A Good Choice!
Serene! Secluded! Reasonable Price!
Great Environment! Good minimalistic room design! Bath and Shower under the sun or moon.
Great Staff! Decent Breakfast!
8
Stayed 2 nights at AKA with my wife and a friend with his family of 4. Booked a One-Room Deluxe Pool Villa and a 2-Room Deluxe Pool Villa. Both are nice and spacious. A lot of trees and plants to ensure privacy. I even stayed in my room the whole day after breakfast just lying under the sun, skin diving and dozing on and off. Great hide out from daily busy life.
AKA is about 15 min van ride to downtown Hua Hin. Free shuttle stops at the Clock Tower, close to everything just by walking. The night market, beach, sea-side restaurants and cafes.
Highly recommend couple and with children to enjoy precious family time at AKA.
Looking forward to visiting AKA again!
Restaurant Tip:
Lots of restaurants and cafes within 10 min walk from the clock tower in downtown Hua Hin.

Nice place for holiday !!
Relax atmosphere, the beauty of the resort and comfortable. Feel like home while stay.
8.7
This is the second time stay in this resort. The place is amazing and very beautiful. The room have everything, make you feel like home. You can relax and enjoy your holiday easily. Private pool is fantastic plus the roof deck is very good for sunbathing or even dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I fully recommend this resort for couple or family who would like to spend time together for a short break.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Rent a bike, there're a lot to see around. If you like adventure. Beside there is elephant riding nearby where you can try.
